Switching the story to the Soul Society, Word has spread that a unknown force with infinite Spiritual pressure has entered the Rukon district, and is heading for the Soul Society; what the Thirteen Court Guard Squads doesn’t realize is that one of the original Leaders of the Shadow Clan Centuries ago, has now taken control over the other four elite warriors and has set his plan into action. The elite Shadow Clan, Leader named (Mezna,) enters the Soul Society gate by forcing one of the gate keeper through door with just his raw spirit energy making the keeper bust through the gate; leaving little more than rumble. He then proceeds to tell the Soul Reapers that surround him that his in only here to fight two people. “I have come here to fight you’re strongest warriors, First, I must fight the man who fears nether Pain or Death.” This of course refers to Kenpachi Zaraki captain of squad Eleven. After the Confrontation with Kenpachi, Mezna, then challenges him to a dual. Mezna, states that he like Kenpachi, doesn’t have a name for his Soul Slayer, & that he can raise & suppress his spiritual pressure. After stating this he then continues to say that he will only use six-five percent of his max. After a Astonishing battle Kenpachi, is defeated & left alive for as Mezna says “Sometimes letting a warrior live after losing a battle the turmoil is worse than death, I have broken your body & shattered your warrior spirit, that is more than enough for me.” After that, the senior officers surround Mezna, & Kenpachi, along with the witness of the fight. The Head Captain arrives hoping to end this dispute. Mezna, immediately spots the Head Captain, & makes him a wager; stating as a Ryoka, he is the biggest thread to the Soul Society, and would gladly accept any form of punishment, if the Head Captain could defeat him! But if he won he would claim the title of Head Captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Sqauds. Most of the Senior officer immediately were enraged at his statement & did not like this game, especially Byakuya Kuchiki. But the Head Captain, had no objections to this new wager, & accepted Mezna’s challenge. The Battle commenced as the Head Captain drew his Soul Slayer from it’s sheaf, Flames exploded outward licking at both the warrior’s bodies. Mezna, stood firm though & told the Head Captain, that he was impressed by this strength & he had not fought with such a powerful warrior for Centuries! Unknown to the Senior officers of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads, one of the Shadow Clan, members had accompanied Menza, to the Soul Society, & while the Head Captain was flying backwards through the air (deflecting one of Menza, attacks) the second strongest warrior (Vengeta,) surprised the Head Captain, & admitted a dimension orb around him swallowing the Head Captain up into another unknown dimension. (This is much like when GrimJow, trapped Uquiorra, into another dimension, temporarily.) With no knowledge of the battle between the Head Captain, & Mezna, being interfered with, or any sign of foil play; it is to the senior officer’s amazement that their Head Captain, has been defeated & Menza, is now their new Head Captain of the Thirteen Court Guard Squad!
