Viz Increases Manga Prices Including Naruto

As reported by ANN, Viz is raising the price on some US Manga titles, including Naruto Volumes 46 and 47, by $1-2!



According to the statement Viz gave ANN, "Viz Media made the decision to stay consistent with the pricing in the marketplace for this industry, which, in some cases might be a slight increase from previous years."

New Naruto game for PS3?

CyberConnect2 is apparently working on a new PS3 exclusive, and some are already theorizing that it is a sequel to Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, the solid fighter that came out last year. As of right now this is just a rumor so more details will come when they surface.

Based on the Naruto Shippuden animated series, players will assume control of over 10 of their favorite ninja, including the dreaded Akatsuki, promising to deliver fierce ninja action as players re-live the Naruto Shippuden storyline and experience a brand new adventure.<br />

Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising

If your PSP thought that its days of Sexy Jutsu and spiky blonde hair was behind it, tell that machine it should not be thinking at all because it is not supposed to be cognizant. After you explain why a thinking machine scares our Terminator-loving generation, drop the news that Naruto Shippuden: Legends: Akatsuki Rising is coming to the portable platform this year.<br />

Namco Bandai announced today that VIZ Media is working on the fighter based on the Naruto Shippuden series, which stars an older, wiser Naruto, and will give players control of 10 ninjas including Akatsuki. Not many specifics were available, but you will guide these ninjas through the events of the animated series this fall. Naruto and his pals go after the fifth Kazekage, Gaara, and try to keep a demon sealed inside that Kazekage.

Leading video games developer and publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that Ultimate Ninja 4: NARUTO Shippuden has shipped to retailers for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. Fierce one-on-one ninja battles return along with new modes, a new storyline and new characters for the most comprehensive NARUTO video game experience yet. Ultimate Ninja 4: NARUTO Shippuden is the first video game for North America based on the NARUTO Shippuden animated series from VIZ Media.

Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 gameplay videos!

Tomy Corporation has released six gameplay movies from Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4, showcasing the first DS game to feature the NARUTO Shippuden story arc in North America. The game allows you to follow an older Naruto and his friends on the quest to save Gaara from the sinister Akatsuki organization. Players are able to choose their allies and form a three-man squad with special jutsu techniques.<br />

A look at another new Naruto video game!

Looks like there is a new Naruto video game coming out for the Nintendo DS. Naruto Shippuden: Ninja Council 4 allows fans to play as Naruto and his friends in the next generation of the series, introducing gamers to a host of playable characters sporting their updated Naruto Shippuden looks, and wireless multiplayer battles for up to four players. Look for this game to come out sometime this spring.<br />
