Yea the rinnagun isnt weak at genjutsu. It could cast the strongest genjutsu with the creation of life. But nagato was weak at genjutsu cuz jirayai was weak at genjutsu. That's how jirayai knew how to defeat those 3 paths of pain.

it hasn't casted a genjutsu so there for u can't say that it. U think it can but we just haven't seen it. i think it can do genjutsu but not necessarily powerful ones. IT'S A BIG WHAT IF.

We havent seen it cast a genjutsu cuz nagato didn't know genjutsu. If u knew how things work in the naruto series u would know that the rinnagun lets the user use yin-yang release which u need to use genjutsu

Yea, The Rinnegan is a tool and it depends on how the user uses it..had Nagato explored it more and with that Uzamaki body that he kindly fucked up lol he could've done anything..that's why I think Madara used it better cuz he has a better understanding of doujutsu than Nagato did

no where in the manga does it say the ringun manipulates yin and yang it says the tech izanagi does witch is an uchia tech witch means its a sharingun tech. it say the sage used it but it didnt say he used it with the rinngun. the sharingun can be put in a genjitsu kurenai put itachi in a genjitsu but since his eyes are strong against them he countered it. nagato didnt counter and genjitsu. and when the frogs where going to do it again he got scared and killed the dude frog. and madara activated his sharingun tech before using the rinngun via susanno he never deactivated it and he hasnt used any other shairngun tech since activating the rinngun so there is no proof that he can use them both at the same time.

it was said the sage of six paths could use any technique not the rinnegan. he himself could not because of his eyes. plus we dont know shit about him and many say it was a myth anyway. we have yet to see proof
