Rinnegan can cast powerful genjutsus.
I have heard people comment that the rinnegan is weak at genjutsu. why? they answer that bcos shima and Fukasku put the pains in genjutsu. But u all agree that, that same genjutsu will work on a sharigan user. so will that also make the sharigan weak at genjutsus? I know the rinnegan can cast powerful genjutsus bcos of the following reasons;
1. the rinnegan can manipulate both yin and Yang.
2. According to Yamato the manipulation of ying and yang is the source of all non-elemental techniques such as the shadow clone technique, multi-sized techniques, medical jutsus and genjutsus.
2. By the Yin-Yang release the rinnegan is able to do the 'creation of all things technique'. Izanagi is based on this technique.
4. all genjutsus fall under the category of yin release. physical attacks(ninjutsus) is based on the yang release.
5. Madara is holding up susanoo with his rinnegan. So if it can hold susanoo why not the other sharigan abilities?

it also says he used the sharingun. and jiraiya
him self thought he was a myth the only one who
seems to know any fact of him is tobi. and ur link
is ibiki talking and he is talking about the sage
not nagato witch we know couldnt use every tech or
he would have. he ha one body that could only to
taijutsu if he could do everything wouldnt u think
he would have an element body in there. and the
sage was special because he was two clans in one
the uchia and the senju

Ibiki is saying whoever habe the rinnagun n the
abilities of the six paths can use any technique
he wants. Nagato has the rinnagun n the abilities
of the six paths. N jirayai stated that when he
train nagato he was able to use all six elements

anywhere it says the sage of six path had the
shariagan

They always twist the words to their liking when
it clearly states what it states..Ibiki was saying
if they guy really exist using the Rinnegan then
he can do any technique, but as the manga stated
that the Sharingan and all those other
kekegenki's are also tools for ninjas and
ninja tools are only as strong as it's user.
Nagato wasn't good at Genjutsu because his
teacher wasn't and my guess is he never
bothered to learn them because he never needed
it..The manga also showed that Nagato was able to
use all the elements like it clearly stated
that..It never ever said the sage used the
sharingan lol they just said that he used the
Rinnegan and created the 2 sons whose blood
thinned out over time, and people ignore the fact
that Nagato was given the Rinnegan for a reason if
he was actually given it...If the sharingan was
stronger than the rinnegan then there would be no
use for the rinnegan to be in existence..just
think about it, it makes no sense

ibiki didnt say or mention nagato at all is is
saying there is a possibility of it. but no one
know they didnt even know if the sage was real or
why he was legendary. and there are only 5
elements not 6 and it only showed him using one
wind. but like moammo619 said did u see him use
anything other then rinngun tech no u didnt. and
it says when tobi is fighting konan that the sage
was to clans in one the uchia and the senju
meaning he had the sharingun probably the same way
madara does.

and u keep twisting ur own words if the rinngun is
so powerful it wouldnt matter who the user is u
wouldnt be allowed to be put in a genjitsu but
thats not the case. and it didnt say he used the
rinngun to create it said he used izanagi in witch
is a sharingun tech. and i never said the rinngun
was stronger or weaker then the sharingun u just
cant read very well they are completly dif and
have dif capabilities but the fact is the
sharingun can work on a rinngun user just like a
rinngun ca work on a sharingun user.

the fact thought and the question is can the
rinngun place someone in a genjitsu no it cant it
dosent have that capability now the caster himself
might be able to using had signs but to cast a
genjitsu like the sharingun without using hand
signs that it can not do

Lol it showed but it stated he could use all of
them as a kid, it clearly said that..idk what you
be reading ...I think the sage had the mix like
the moon eye plan....but I didn't twist my
words...If I said the Rinnegan is a tool and only
as strong as it's user then that's the
truth..they always stress that in the series
also..it's like Sasuke's dad having the
Sharingan and it's not as strong as
Itachi's or Sasuke's it's because
they use it better and are stronger..If you give
Rock Lee the Rinnegan I'm almost certain he
wouldn't be able to use it as good as Nagato
or Madara...

Wombat I agree with most of the stuff u say like
their are 5 elements i was counting yin-yang
release. But jirayai did say nagato was able to
use 6 forms of ninjutsu when he was fight animal
path. Next just cuz he was shown only using the
six path abilities doesn't mean he don't
have more. Think about it kakashi supposed to know
1000 jutsu i have seen maybe 10. Last during the
fight between konan n tobi konan didn't say
the sage was two clans in one but she states that
izangi was a combination of uchiha n senju not
that the sage was. One more thing the rinnagun is
by far the best power in naruto universe. Nagato
was able to kill two chuinins with it b4 even
having any battle experience at all. That was
never heard of b4. Plus like I posted earlier
Ibiki said if someone posses the rinnagun they can
use any jutsu they want so I think that classify
it as THE BEST

Wait...let me get off subject for a second...has
anyone noticed that the Uchiha brother used a
sword which is said to symbolize power and his
brother used a shakujo which is the same that the
so6 paths used which symbolizes desire and peace
which is why monks use it...but the monks have
this thing with the rings around it "4
rings=Four Truths of The Noble One, six rings
representing the Six Perfections, or twelve rings
representing the twelvefold chain of cause and
effect" six rings which have also been
claimed to represent the six states of existence
(humans, animals, hell, hungry ghosts, gods, and
asuras). Kishi goes deep! lol I think those are
the six paths right?
