Rinnegan can cast powerful genjutsus.
I have heard people comment that the rinnegan is weak at genjutsu. why? they answer that bcos shima and Fukasku put the pains in genjutsu. But u all agree that, that same genjutsu will work on a sharigan user. so will that also make the sharigan weak at genjutsus? I know the rinnegan can cast powerful genjutsus bcos of the following reasons;
1. the rinnegan can manipulate both yin and Yang.
2. According to Yamato the manipulation of ying and yang is the source of all non-elemental techniques such as the shadow clone technique, multi-sized techniques, medical jutsus and genjutsus.
2. By the Yin-Yang release the rinnegan is able to do the 'creation of all things technique'. Izanagi is based on this technique.
4. all genjutsus fall under the category of yin release. physical attacks(ninjutsus) is based on the yang release.
5. Madara is holding up susanoo with his rinnegan. So if it can hold susanoo why not the other sharigan abilities?

one what does ibiki know.and 2 if what u say is
correct and having the rinngun automatically
allows u to do it all u wouldnt need trained by
jiraiya but thats not what happened just because u
have it doesnt mean u can do it all.

So everyone always talk about what the manga stays
n i posted a link that said if a person has the
ability of the six paths n the rinnagun they can
use any jutsu they want. N just cuz u have
somethin doesn't mean anything. It always
come down to how u use what u have. So nagato
didn't master the rinnagun but he has the
ability to that's my point.

everything that is said about da sage of six path
is all legend and myth dont know body know for
sure expect the tailed beast. until they say
something it is all assumptions

it never said if u have the rinnegan u can do any
jutsu it said da sage of six paths could use any
technique. it did not specify he could because of
the rinnegan he was da first ninja so maybe thats
y. we need solid info on him to say anything not

it didnt say that in da manga. and the site that u posted to go look at... u do realized that anybody can go on their write what they want. jus like wikipedia. everyday people write those bio's.... and thats where u get ur info from lol ur a joke!!!

and that quote came from ibiki every ninja in
naruto believed the sage to be myth except tobi so
how would ibiki know.
