He also says that in order to awaken the rinnegan you must possess Uchiha and Senju blood. A lot of the current questions are answered by that one chapter in combination with what is said by ET Madara. Its obvious that Tobi had a huge influence on Nagato and despite Yahikos efforts Tobi was able to retrieve the Rinnegan from him.

Its very unlikely unless Tobi infused the Senju blood into Sasuke. I doubt he would do that at the risk of making him too powerful.

U are wrong, tobi never said that to possess rinnegan you must possess uchiha and senju blood. We the fans are the ones assuming that based on what madara said that he sought the power of hashirama. Answer these questions.

1. And why would Madara wait so long to right before his death before awakening rinnegan even though he got hashirama power a long time ago? we know he met nagato before dying. Before meeting nagato madara had uchiha dna and hashirama power but no rinnegan. why is that?

2.Tobi himself has uchiha and senju DNA, why therefore no rinnegan if we are to go by what u say? there is more for us to know to make any conclusive statements about the origins of the rinnegan. Just wait.

Sry to say this but I think the part where Nagatos parents were killed was before Jiraya met Minato, because Jiraya changed his view over the " Child of Profecy " ( or what's it called ) from Nagato to Minato.Just wanted to point that out,please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. And about the Tobi giveing Nagato his rinnengan,in my point of view he was refering to the power of the eyes that because as you may know Nagato was under Tobis control.And I'm just thinking maybe Tobi managed to clone/duplicate Nagatos Rinnengan and gave it to him so he can create the other 5 paths so that Nagato wouldn't get involved directly in the battle( you all saw how his body looked like when he fought Naruto ),and maybe Tobi failed to do a perfect clone and the "paths" could only use one of the originall rinnengan abillitys.
