They make no mention of him having an older brother or that he would have survived and Sasukes father is dead. Killed by Itachi. Its much more likely that Tobi is an unspoken of Uchiha or possibly Madaras brother. Not sure how he would still be alive though. Perhaps something about giving his eyes to his brother. Not really sure and neither does anyone else. Its all speculation.

U seem to have a point here but in this case that will make sasuke's father pretty old if the real madara knows about him. Also Tobi has ways of finding out about things himself with the help of zetsu. so what u say is not enough proof but to ur credit it is something to ponder over.

Also fugasaku (sasuke's father) was the head of the uchiha at the time leading the uchiha to rebel, why then would he as Tobi allow Itachi to kill those helping him in his course. he was also shown killed by itachi which on the other hand could have been a trick though.

There are still a lot of questions.
