But Tobi summoned kurama into Konoha (read chapter 502 page 3). He used a summoning Jutsu. In fact Minnato had to take away that contract from Tobi to free kurama from Tobi's control.

Zetsu listens to Tobi bcos i think Madara tasked Zetsu to serve Tobi. Zetsu cannot do what Tobi does becos he does not have a sharigan. Also Tobi has a portion of madara's chakra and characteristics.

Kisame explained this in the previous animie episode 250, a white zetsu touched Kisami and became a perfect copy of him(kisame), able to use a bit of kisame's jutsus.

As i said this is just a theory based on snippets from the manga. I could be totally wrong but at least when trying to debunk it, use info from the manga.

Der...As you can see the way Tobi control the kyuubi to attack Konoha,you will notice that Tobi using his sharingan,obviously...So,there is no need for Tobi to have a summoning contract to summon kyuubi...Tobi just using Madara's power that can summon the kyuubi...Minato using his sealing contract technique or whatever it calls to release the kyuubi from the sharingan control technique...It's just easy as that...

cekkiDaud, But there was the use of summoning jutsu. controlling someone with genjutsu and summoning jutsu are 2 different things. As the manga explains u cannot summon an animal u do not have a contract with. So how do u explain Tobi summoning kurama into konoha?

well your both right to an extent he did use a genjitsu to control and what the 4th broke was the genjitsu control over kurama. and tobi did summon kurama. but he isnt a beast u make a contract with. and if he was he hates madara and tobi for controlling him why would he let them make a contract with him? the jutsu used to take control over kurama has something to do with summoning him. if it was a regular genjitsu the 4th wouldnt have been able to break the genjitsu by touching tobi. he would have had to touch kurama. so there is more to the eye tech

and zetsu uses a jutsu he wouldnt be able to maintain a jutsu for that long. plus zetsu can sense chakara and travel threw the earth tobi dosent do that he is transparent. tobi isnt a zetsu

This actually sounds like one of the more believable theories to me. I don't think Kurama's hatred for Tobi and Madara could've stopped them from making a contract with him - they could just force him to agree using the sharingan. I don't know how Minato's seal released Kurama from the genjutsu - even if it was the case that touching Tobi would break it, the break would come when Minato hits him with the flying thunder god level 2 (totally badass move, I must say).

I heard another idea that if Tobi was a clone that had Madara, Hashirama and Tobirama's DNA spliced in, that might explain why he can use the space-time jutsu. I may be wrong, but I don't remember the manga ever saying/showing exactly how Tobirama died, just what happens the last time anyone from Konoha sees him. I think it's entirely possible he could've encountered Madara or Tobi on the way to his death. What if Tobi was a Zetsu-like clone as Quajo says but with DNA from the First and Second added in? To me it explains the space-time jutsu (though his is apparently better than Tobirama's... hold on a second... Tobirama Senju...Tobirama...Tobi... is there a connection? Oh wait, the Second is already sealed away with Hashirama and the Third) and the way Tobi seems to melt body parts when injured and is able to regenerate them.

wombat, manda didn't like Oro but manda was Oro's summoning animal. I think u can summon an animal if u have a contract with it, but u can not force that summoning to do whatever u like unless probably u control it with a dojutsu.

I think Madara tricked Kurama into a contract or something on that line. Using the sharingan he then controlled kurama into attacking Konoha. So even if kurama currently does not like it, i guess he must still abide by the contract. Any way these are just something to think about and not conclusive.

You do need a contract to summon an animal as shown from sasuke and orochimaru summoning manda, naruto and jiraya summoning chief toad, and kakashi summoning the dogs...so if you don't need one you're telling me that sasuke can up and summon the chief toad if he wants? He can summon those beasts that Pain had at anytime..without the contract that means that any person can summon any animal they want which is obviously not true..you need to sign a contract and I don't think the animal has to agree as shown when Naruto signed the contract the chief toad was nowhere around and didn't believe or want to follow his orders because he didn't agree at first, and in the sharingan's case they can MAKE them agree as shown with manda and the 9 tails..
