Quoting wombat3476they showed madara and his brother kill there friends to gain there eye they where well in there 20s. itachi was saying all that stuff so sasuke would hate madara. madara even said that. he also said he wanted sasukes eye so he could be better than madara so that was the truth also? and it also showed him talking to madara or tobi it was before he killed his clan. it also said itachi joined akatsuki just to keep an eye on tobi not to study under him. damn your dumb. of course they where feared they where in an era of war. and the manga even says and highlights it that every generation is better than the last.

if every generation is better than the last why is Madara destroying the CURRENT 5 kage
