I wanted to say Itachi, but the way it was worded just didn't seem right compared to all the other potential heroes.

For me,all of them failed to be a true heroes because,at the end, they never succeed in what their doing...They are just a hero, but, not a true hero...

But,I vote for Itachi then...

no need for ninjutsu!

i voted for itachi....and uchiha_kitten i agree it wasnt worded right...because a lot of things were written abt other heroes but not itachi..the writter shud've shudve wrote abt how he is feared amongst many people and what he is capable of...btw its actually itachi who can actually be called a true hero because he is the only one who did a lot for the village and asked for nothing in return...and he dint get what he deserved even naruto is getting what he deserves and all other heroes did get the fame and all but itachi dint and never even asked for it!

Haha Lets put on our pimp hats for all believing Itachis true story of being a hero.
*pimp hat goes on*

and yeah, ST, exactly. only the 3rd hokage really praised itachi for what he's done..
secretly that is..the elders too. And your right, I don't think Itachi ever wanted to be out there..
he didn't want everyone knowing of what the Uchihas were up to that night..good call. lol

But still...You guys didn't think this one sounded like a true hero in the making?
Why, cause it hasn't happened yet or never will?

Jiraiya - A perverted old man who understood the way of life in the world he's inhabited by. He was the center of the prophecy for teaching a child who would revolutionize the world. Jiraiya died by the hands of his student - Nagato. He longed for a change in the world, changing the views of many and passing his will onto Naruto: "That one day people will truly understand one another".

I like how the sheep have flocked to Naruto too. well i picked Jaraiya, purely because he was the main foundation for Naruto's growth, and was a major asset to Minato's growth, and Kakashi's in a way. not forgetting since the first time i saw him appear in an espiode, and i was like omfg that guy is me! but ya... Itachi's is badasss and really cool. but break down to the foundations of his actions, he did more harm than good...
