itachi and sauske got caught in a genjustsu after
kabuto played that flute.
Im pretty sure they
looked at each other to cancel out that 1st
genjutsu and 1)either cast itachis new eye tech or
2) tried to?
im not sure if itachi getting
cut in half is part of tht tech or if kabuto got
to him before.. either way, wont he come back

Ok in the manga just now Itachi told Sasuke to look in his eyes then they both activated genjutsu, what was that for and was that a part of Izanami?

Itachi cant be killed right now, only sealed away.
Itachi doesnt get fooled so easily particularly by
one of Orochimarus tricks. I really think its part
of Itachis genjutsu. I suppose well find out.

Yeah because
Itachi already said that izangimi can decide the
outcome so for sure not over

I'm pretty sure they just used their
tsukuyomi to instantly free themselves from the
sound genjutsu they were stuck in (You can see
each brother cutting the snakes surrounding the
other brother during the tsukuyomi). I don't
think it was part of Itachi's Izanami.

They used gentjutsu to release genjutsu, this is
true. This is not the Izanami, Itachi is very fast
and very cunning. After seeing the way Izanagi
worked Im sure Izanami has been cast and Kabutos
attack will be rendered irrelevant. He was just a
bit too slow. Kabuto was always one of my
favorites but hes done with now. Itachi and Sasuke
just too strong.

I wasnt reffering to Izanami making Itachi immortal but rather the edo tensei that brought him back to life.

I think Itachi was BS'ing Sasuke when he told
him about izanami it just sounds like too much
either that or there's a higher price than
just 1 eye for it at least that;s what my guts
telling me.
