Madara seemed to know Tobi somehow because when Edo Madara was revived he asked Kabuto did Tobi know of Kabuto's plan. I don't see Kabuto explaining to just another one of his puppets his entire plan, even though this is Madara, and they didn't show it. I think Tobi, Madara and Zetsu are all connected, so far the most mysterious characters in the series are Tobi and Zetsu, no one even knows if Zetsu is even human, and both have specific powers that only two ninjas had which were the 1st Hokage and Madara. I don't think we have been truly been introduced to either one of these character's, so time will tell.

Tobi isn't Madara or Obito. Edo Tensei can only summon the dead, if Tobi was Madara they couldn't have summoned Madara... And the whole thing with kakashi-gaiden / obito. Was just a small insight into how the son of the white fang/silver fang?(cant remember) changed from being a strict rule follower into the silly but kick ass kakashi we know now. Was just back story, not a "we're putting the idea of obito in the anime so people will wonder about tobi..." lol

I just hope when they do show who tobi really is, the people who actually think/thought tobi was obito or madara will realize how stupid they are.

Personally I think tobi...like itachi said " is nothing more than a shell of the original" think about it..it is madara well at least a clone of him..created after he absorbed hashirama's cells.. "TOBI IS A WOOD CLONE" Thats why he calls him self "no one" because he knows hes not the real deal..why do you think everytime he looses a limb in battle he can just regenerate.. he..he has the ability to cause cell divisions to grow New limbs because of the wood cells. The man said it him self..that he no longer has power to do certain things..He was created after the battle with shodai which means that because madara was in a weakened state after the battle the clone probably has the same weaknesses as the original. thts my opinion anyway.

also I think kishi drops clues in the filler episodes at times.. remember that episode when they were on the ship and his clones went crazy..hes showing that clones can have a mind of their own.. Clones are created with purpose in mind already so it follows that this madara clone was created with the 'tsuki no me' as an overall goal..and also revenge against the uchiha clan and the leaf as somthing to do along the way.. also remember that edo tensei madara or 'the real Madara' if you will was surprised at his own return and was wondering if 'He' aka clone madara was still following the plan.. also when kabuto came to clone madara to make the ' alliance'..who do you think was in the last mystery coffin??? DUN DUN DUN the plot thickens...also why do you think that edo tensei madara is fighting the KAGES so hard.. obviously he knows that the plan is still on..and he hes got a hard on because of it.. well thats what I think is happening anywayz.. Tobi or Madara is one of the former mizukage's.Kisame lets it slip in chapter 404.He's not even a Uchiha. He took those eyes.If you notice he always has the sharingan turned on,just like Kakashi.Question is witch former mizukage is he.

He had the mizukage under the control of sharingan if you look carefully at the manga madara was standing behind the mizukage.. also Kisame was speaking about thing not being what they seemed to be "world of lies and deception.. THE question is How long was the appearant mizukage under the control of madara? what is the whole time he was mizukage or was it some time afterward? kisame only discovers that madara was in control of the mizukage because madara himself allowed it...and also because of the fact that he saw potential in kisame that he could use.
