Ok, Ok... Another theory... This one really has no backing but interestingly enough that could be the point... What if Tobi was Setsuna Uchiha or Kagami Uchiha... Both would explain his age. I doubt it is Izuna Uchiha because that would make him over 100 and I still feel Obito is an option but both Setsuna Uchiha and Kagami Uchiha would fit the age range. There is very little known about Setsuna Uchiha and Kagami Uchiha so that would make perfect candidates because you can not rule out the ones you do not know much about. I also wondered if he was simply a creation of Orochimaru using Uchiha Cells and Hashirama cells or possibly a person injected with them both... Remember, we have never seen Tobi without his Sharingan active.. possibly the same issue Kakashi faces with his own where it is always active due to not being a true Uchiha but with Hashirama's cell he has a huge amount of Chakra. Maybe Madara went to Orochimaru to implant Hashirama's cells in him but first "tested" it on someone else...

The jutsu was supposed to be used to revive madara but tobi was pretending to be madara so he said it was supposed to be used to revive him. That's also why tobi said he gave nagato the rinnagun when actually madara probably gave it to him.

didn't Nagato revive Madara when he died?

Do you think if Nagato used that technique on one
person would he still die? And is there any time
limit as to when a person can be revived, like
within 24 hours or something? Because I think if
he knew he was capable of that, he would've
revived Yahiko or something. Besides, when the
real Madara gave Nagato his Rinnegan, Tobi felt as
if they were his. Making me assume even more
it's Izuna, since it was "his in the
first place", y'know.. Madara taking his
eyes and what not.

I doubt that matters. Madara is the older brother, and the characters in naruto were willing to accept that Tobi could be Madara. So if were really Izuna, I don't see why the age would factor in. Plus, Tobi has heavily manipulated his body. Also, characters in there 50s and even 70s (like the 3rd Hokage) have been shown to be very powerful.

Well kishi just revealed in chapter 597 that
Tobi's using Obito's eye so we can
cancel him as an option, Shisui Uchiha lost both
eyes but suspiciously his body is missing hmmm,
Fugaku Uchiha was missing during the ninetails
