Obito theory = Out the window
In the recent chapter, Tobi said that he got his sharingan (Which is connected to Kakashi's sharingan which he got from Obito) DURING the 3rd shinobi world war at the Kannabi bridge. (Where, coincedentaly, Team Minato were sent to destroy the bridge). It is obvious that Tobi was present, after qouating in the recent chapter that at the Kannabi bridge is where kakashi became the hero with the sharingan.. After obito died, Tobi also stole obito's right eye.. How can Obito be Tobi.. if they were present in the same place..at the same time -_- & not to mention tobi saying he OBTAINED the sharingan the exact same time & place where Obito died.

Finally the Obito theory is put to rest. Still sticking with Izuna.

i still dont see how the Tobi thing is put to rest or out the window i think it is either obito or kagami who would end up being his dad but i still think it could be tobi......whoever it is has an intimate connection with kakashi (nohomo) and knws him to a great extent look at when he said its too late for regrets....im not saying it is but i dont think it can be ruled out entirely

Nope not quite out the window. I strongly believed it was Izuna, believed in Izuna the second the coffin of Madara opened. But after reading the recent Manga, the way Tobi answered how he got his sharingan, it sounded sarcastic in a way. Kind of like, "Oh you ask where I got my sharingan? Oh well it was at the fucking battle you got all the praise for with my sharingan! Yeah, I'm Obito" Just the way how Kakashi reacted, and how Tobi has a grudge. "You're just words with no actions, what someone like you says is worth nothing". We knew that Obito loved Rin, and what did he ask Kakashi to do before he died? To protect Rin, we don't know how she died, but Kakashi said he couldn't protect her. Later on, "It's too late to regret", and in the next scene it shows Kakashi in the graveyard, with Tobi saying, "I want to build a world where heroes don't have to make pitiful excuses in front of graves". Clearly he was talking about the regret of what happened to "Obito" and "Rin". As for Tobi's face, the boulders completely crushed his body when they all fell after Kakashi left. I wouldn't be surprised that he was left with such a garbage body, obviously needing the Zetsu-like substance that appeared when the 4th fought him. I just believe that Izuna has completely no part in Kakashi past life and having any close ties with him that Tobi clearly had.

Wow.... I completely overlooked that page with the grave and Tobi's insult. This definitely puts Obito back into the mix but the age of Tobi and Obito still doesnt work. Most likely the grave is Rin's but not 100 percent. The age however could be the after effects of some kind of surgery to heal the crushed body of Obito and the scars from the surgery is why he wears the mask. But this is just speculation and only Kishi knows. It seems Obito takes the lead in my book though. Thanks for the reminders

hummm... IF it is Obito I think his answer on "Where did you get that eye" and he said "During the third blah blah blah" I think Tobi meant when he awoke the Sharingan, not the physical eye. I have another theory I will put up on another blog.

you do have good points, & i also thought of most of that before writing this blog, but it still doesnt add up.. the idea that tobi was being sarcastic or not is still 50/50. because what if he wasn't? the comment he made about kakashi being all talk & how kakashi is could be the simple fact that he observed the whole battle at the bridge. Throughout the manga, tobi is seen observing many battles while hiding somewhere in the shadows. & kishi made it clear that that is what tobi likes to do..collect information. Tobi could have been stalking kakashi before & even after the fight at kannabi (probably anticipating a chance to steal kakashi's sharingan) & notice that he always visits obito's grave and grieves or whatever.. But one thing that alot of tobi theories are disregarding, is where did tobi get his other sharingan that he sacrificed while fighting konan?? that is what i really want to know

Well we do know that Tobi stacked up on a lot of eyes, maybe for the Izanagi purpose. Probably got it from the Uchiha massacre.

Plus, "Obtained" those eyes sound like a "metaphor of sorts... Like when both Sasuke and Itachi told Orochimaru "Against THESE EYES" speaking about the Sharingun, not the eye balls. So to the phrase "I Obtained these eyes" is like saying "I acheived and activaed the Sharingan at the battle at the bridge..." Still COULD be Obito...
