Uchiha Madara did not die in the hands of harashima, it just said there that every time they fought madara cant beat harashima bcoz he is really strong and infact marada is admiring harashima bcoz of his ability and personality, and their last battle in the valley of konoha in manga it just said there madara might died there bcoz after that fight he never showed up or no one sees him anymore. it doesnt mean madara cant beat harashima,then harashima dominated madara, i think it didnt goes that way,, maybe their fight is like a 45-55 in favor of harashima so there's no really big advantage over each other... and now i conclude that madara and harashima had an agreement that who ever wins on their last clash will leave the village or what so ever... madara is not really a bad guy he actually agreed to merge with senju clan and they build the konohagakure together with harashima, its just happened that he want to took the leadership over harashima becoz he is worried that the uchiha clan might overpowered by the senju clan, so the balance of two clan might gone... that's his main concern, he never wished for himself he always look for the benifits of his clan and his people, he even sacrificed the life of his younger brother to defended well their people during the war. and maybe after their last fight harashima also conviced madara that he will also protect the uchiha clan to remain the balance of superiority of both clan and never bypass him. so that's why even considering that he is his ultimate enemy he never lose respect and admiration to harashima... so maybe madara leave the konoha with peace and never show up again coz he trust harashima.
