No, he was referring to Nagato. He entrusted the
eyes to nagato.
But the real question
is if madara died without his original EMS, how
can he awaken rinnegan as ET? I guess Kishi tried
to explain it away with the whole thing about
kabuto improving ET Madara but still...
You will still need EMS even if you have senju
DNA to awaken rinnegan. So where did Kabuto get
EMS eyes for Madara? I don't think that even
if you combine basic sharingan with Hashirama
cells, you will get rinnegan. why? Simply because
Tobi couldn't awaken rinnegan.

Could he not be Madara?
In the last manga he clearly says he intrusted his original eyes to someone else and only has one cause he found a spare. In Naruto it never says Madara lost his eyes but was only losing his sihgt so he took his BROTHERS!! Could it be that this might be his brother that somehow did not die or was revived with EDO tensei?

@hotrich64 what i meant was this: by the time
Madara met Obito he had given his rinnegan to
nagato. Madara therefore died as an old man with
implanted eyes. As such ET Madara would have
awoken with the implanted sharingans. How then
could he evolve those implanted eyes to rinnegan?

Yeah, that's bugging me too.
The only logical explanation was, Madara got the Rinnegan back from the dead Nagato before or after he rejuvenated, and then he died - young and with both Rinnegans. Only question to that thesis was: How and why did he die? Was he killed? If so, by whom? A guy able to take out all 5 Kages at once doesn't seem to be killed that easily. xP Or was his death the price for the rejuvenation? Was that the reason why Tobi was so pissed about Nagato using the Rinne Tensei for the people of Konoha, instead of keeping it ready for Madara's rebirth..?
:Can't wait until Kishimoto clears evreything up.

the Edo Tensei eye thing doesn't make much
sense, since if was that old when he found Obito,
he should have been resurrected that way. My
guess is that since Kabuto implanted Senju DNA, it
restored some of his youth. But he should still
lack eyes, since he has one implant in these Obito
flashbacks.
My theory is that Madara fight with Harashima mortally wounded him and he used the other path to summon an eyeless Izuna who he then planted a sharingan and instructed to take his eyes and put them into Nagato so that one day Nagato would resurrect Madara. Madara then passes away and Izuna gives Nagato the rinnegan and spends the rest of the time harvesting Zetsus.
If you think about it doesn't it seem odd that none of the veteran shinobi mention izuna even though they are supposed to be of equal strength? We only hear about him through Tobi.

but remember guys that all the shinobis that
kabuto ressurected were ressurected at their prime
so that would only make sense that ET madara is
young and has his rinnegan eyes. And in addition,
kabuto said that the ET madara is an upgraded one
so it's not a surprise if his really strong.

No they weren't resurrected as they were in their prime. Nagato was resurrected still a cripple and looking emaciated. Third raikage was resurrected with the scar which was his only weakness.
In terms of madara looking young, Kabuto admitted that he had somehow improved Madara's ET body. I think that was what he was referring to.

well remember that madara gave his eyes to nagato
and then after nagato died tobi got them back and
then when the war started both kabuto and tobi
implanted eyes into the few that could use them
and that happened to be itachi nagato and most
likely madara. the eyes dont need to be their
specific eyes bcus sasuke has itachis eyes yet
itachi was able to use susanoo so i think that as
long as they have the eyes its their chakra that
gives them the abilities.

but,something bothering me...if Senju and Uchiha
was very strong shinobi clan,why Kabuto
didn't use them as an ET army?...it's
only Itachi and Madara that he use,no Senju at
all...if Kabuto found Madara DNA,it should be no
problem to him to find Izuna DNA...but then,where
is all the Senjus?...where is the grave of the
murdered Uchihas?...
