I respectfully disagree. Given the theme of Kishimoto's manga, I don't think he is going to make Madara a textbook bad guy. Kishimoto has humanized almost every villain in his manga - hell, even Kisame's motivation for a world where he didn't have to lie to his comrades or kil them was tear-jerking. I think if anything, Madara's story will be the must gut wrenching of them all.

I think he is going to witness something and misunderstand it. I think he is going to see Rin get killed and Kakashi flee the scene. Maybe Rin sacrifice herself to save the team and a child while Kakshi escape with the child or something and Obito only see Kakashi leaving and Rin getting killed. What would be crazy would be if Rin was saved by Obito like Madara saved him and she joined their side. Then after a few chapters Rin appears and is one of the badest fighters out there.. Remember, we never see what she can do or her Jitsu... Besides medicine.

This is a huge annoying plot hole.. go back to that chapter when Tobi fought Minato, Kakashi, Guy, and all the others were just kids and werent allowed to fight to protect the future of Konoha.. Also Obito doesnt even know how to use Kamui yet.

I do like that storyline and would love to see it just to see if Rin was strong or not. But then Obito would have no reason for going all "trap the world in genjutsu" on allied shinobi force.

I disagree, doing the math Naruto is now approx. 16 which means the fox was unleashed 16 years ago. Kakashi is now approx 30, he would of been approx 15 or 16 back then. If Naruto is strong enough to go against some of the most powerful Ninja and he simply learned along the way wouldnt it be possible for someone else dedicated to training to be strong enough at the age of 16? He may not have Kuruma but he has the Sharingan... Look at Sasuke He is thr same age as Naruto and he beat Orochimaru, B and other very strong Ninja... He even held his own against the 5 Kage killing Danzo who was no cake walk.

So Obito was most likely 14 when he fought Minnato.

Point is, even at a young age with the amount of training he was going through he could very well take on the 4th...
