timeline mistakes
ok so this is my attempt at trying to clear up what is going on with the timeline (most of this is speculation and not all proven right or not). So during the 3rd shinobi war we know that the akasuki was formed and obito was "killed" but we are not sure when, so my idea is that
1. obito was "killed" during the first few weeks of the war
2. within 6 months he is healed up and had seen kakashi kill rin
3. soon after this he meets up with nagato, yahiko, and konan
4. anywhere from a day to possibly a year later yahiko is killed and nagato decides to work with obito

so if you guys have anything to add or correct let me know, because like i said it is mostly speculation

so what do u say, how much was time difference between when obito supposedly got killed and when obito had a faceoff with minato ?....

Naw I think the story says that years had passed before Obito saw kakashi kill rin and the war started years after Obito had died, in the manga it looked like kakashi and rin hadn't aged but I'm still not sure if not they were zetsu's or they were just taller or something. Obito had to have been around 16 when he was finally able to get free. And yes the rest sounds possible a day or year after Yahiko's death is when Nagato finally decided to join Obito

Nope the timeline is messed up beyond repair!! Remember Jiraiya once thought Nagato as the Child of Prophecy? Then after news of his "death" (which was actually the death of Yahiko) he considered Minato to be the Child of Prophecy. After Minato's death, it was Naruto.

Now consider this: Obito unleashed the Kyuubi onto Konoha a year or two after he got rescued by Madara. From the manga, it seems that he contacted Nagato shortly before his attack on Konoha, which resulted in Minato's death. That would mean that Yahiko died either AFTER the attack on Konoha, or SHORTLY before the attack on Konoha (given the present details, the latter seems unlikely). Either way, it would take some time for the news of Yahiko's death to reach Jiraiya, by which time Minato would most probably have been dead.

Now ask yourself. Would Jiraiya place his faith on Minato given the extremely short amount of time between news of Nagato's 'death' and Minato's actual death? Yet previously, the manga stated that Jiraiya, after a lot of reflection, began thinking that Minato was the Child of Prophecy. He believed in it till the day Minato died. But the latest info on the timeline totally contradicts with the past revelation about Jiraiya's faith in his successive students.

Not only that, Nagato was OLDER than Minato by at least some 3-4 years, maybe more. Yet in the latest chapters he looks like a teenager while Minato is almost a father. Also, the original Akatsuki of Yahiko had a considerabley LARGE force. Building such a force would require quite some time. So that would place Yahiko's death long AFTER the Kyuubi incident, unless the real Madara manipulated Yahiko to form Akatsuki long before Obito. Hence, the timeline is totally fucked up!!

sounds good to me...I even don't understand about the timeline...kind of mess up...that is the mistake of the flashback,maybe...you can't be 20 year-old from 14 year-old in just 1 year...
