Wow Kishimoto - that's just too lazy
So it turns out that we needed to cut open the stomach of the reaper to revive all four Hokages to make a shocking revelation to the plot: Uchihas are sensitive... Seriously that's got to be the lamest way of explaining characters like Madara, Obito, and Sasuke I have ever heard in my life. Hear me out and process this for a moment:

with this explanation of the Uchiha biology for some reason being prone to destructive sensitivity, the crux of their very motives essentially becomes 'nothing about my character explains my actions, they are predetermined for no reason'. Before I end this blog, I just want to leave you all a quote from Itachi to give an example to the kinds of ideas I know Kishimoto is capable of and wished he would expand on:

[to Naruto]"If you forget about others because you now have power, and become arrogant and egotistical, you'll eventually become just like Madara(Obito)". We see exactly this in Obito and Madara's character development.

Thanks. I just had to vent because I'm getting sick of reading all these people for some reason thinking this was so brilliant. People used to smear his plot by explaining all the melodramatic and border-line nonsensical bull shit by using the phrase "uchihas are sensitive"; now a half-assed biological/mystical version of that very smear is his brilliant explanation? People don't know a cop out when they see it.

well, I am guessing Kishi will next tell us that the senju have more hate in them than the uchiha, and that when a senju loses his hate he learns to love more.

No, it's not a good enough explanation. what is love in the 1st place?
Is Kishi saying the uchiha love specific persons intensely and that when those persons they have marked for their love is hurt, then they go apeshit?

Exactly. Kishimoto took the lazy way out - and you can tell because he always does this when he doesn't feel like explaining a character's development at all. Look at Gaara and Neji, and hell even Sasuke - their development actually does reflect their actions in the end (Sasuke up until he decided to destroy Konoha). My problem with Kishimoto is that he really has a glimmer of genius in him in a pool of lazy bull shit. LAZY is honestly the key word here, not stupid; he's shown us from the beginning of the manga that he knows how to write well and do good story telling, he simply chooses not to in order to cater to fans or just not work as hard.

I agree that this is a sign of laziness from Kishimoto, but it does open the door to other explainations in the series. I think that the Uchiha being overly sensitive with their emotions could also be seen as a sterotype in the series. I mean look at Itachi, he had to kill his whole clan, abandon his village and his brother and keep his act of heroism a secret to his grave. But through it all he didn't become like Sasuke, Madara or Obito. He took everything he was dealt and made it workout in the end.
