I don't think we will see a final battle between Naruto & Sasuke... & i hope we don't. There has been way to much emphasis on Naruto understanding ones pain & him getting Sasuke back, to end this incredible series on the note of failure. I kind of would like to think that Masashi Kishimoto is creating this story in reflection of his own feelings of loss & possibly the state of the world we live in. There is hate & misunderstanding everywhere we look in the world today between nations... countries. Maybe Kishimoto has created this story to show us what he personally wishes he could do... stop the insanity of war & have all take a moment to try to understand each other. I don't know... i'm just a dreamer... hoping for a better world!

Yea i think ur right the world is a mess.... but guess wot there's hope..because there are alot of narutos,hinatas,rocklees,nejis,shikamarus,kibas,sa kuras,garas..u know wot i mean,there's no saying what might happen 2morrow as long as everyone has friends who can get them through the day irrespective of their differences(culture)no matter the magnitude of hate in the world an atom of LOVE can break hates yoke...... only that the impact would be slow then gradualy boooooooooooooommmmmmm... everyone's loving each other. and i do wish everyone can one day understand each other.

I absolutely agree with you. We have same thoughts about Kishi, actually , this ninja story has changed me a lot. I start believing theres hope. I mean call me stupid but naruto inspires me, specially on pains confrontation.

Thank you ebigwunkonye & uzumakimadara. It's nice to know i'm not the only one that feels this way about this story. It is by far one of the best i've had the opportunity to follow & it has changed me too. I want to do more to make this world a better place!!!

i want to see them fight each other for like 1 to 1/1-2 ep. then both turn on Madara

Kashi wrote this with peace in mind, that is obvious. The series is suppose to make people feel this way, I applaud the author for that. He did introduce me to the "cycle of hatred though". as far as the series goes, i would like to see Naruto and Sasuke fight. Naruto said they will both die, and I have a ending in mind. sasuke is aware of the "cycle of hatred" i thinkt hat Sasukes thirst for vengeance will finally go away, when he kills Naruto. But aware of the cycle, after being "brought back", he then turns his bladew on himself and commits suicide. He and Naruto, laty there in death, Madara dead,and Gaara grows old to tell the story. epic ending

I could easily see a fight in this series between the two, just like in the original series, except it would be a lot more epic, each of them have their new abilities and I'd LOVE to see that action between the two, though I kind of agree with livingrpg when he said that he couldn't see it happen, and his reasoning was good too! Though that would almost disappoint me.

Then to joessj5's comment, I couldn't see Sasuke killing himself, though I CAN see it ending in both of their deaths, ending with Gaara telling the story at the very end. That would be amazing!

well,have in mind guyw that probably the only reason he made naruto so fast(latest manga) might be because he wants him to counter amaterasu and anything else...i think sasuke will try to kill him but see he can't and that's when they'll talk things out..naruto will tell him he understands him at least a bit because he had a great loss too and some other stuff i can't predict..Naruto vs pain can't be best fight in all of Naruto scince kishi's spent so much time powering up Sasuke and making madara explain the neverending rivalry...oh they will fight a bit,be sure of that!and it will happen soon too(they got too powered up for the series to drag on for long) i just don't think they'll mortally wound each other except if it's the last means of bringing world peace somehow..
oh and i find Shikakus' (whom i trully respect as a char.) statements underwhelming seeing how Naruto wants to stop the war to protect everyone,not annihilate the enemy...
