If Madara was tobi then why is he still wearing a mask...after telling eveyone that he is madara why at that point would he still wear a mask...probably because there a ninjas who actually remember how madara looks...like Tsunade and the Tscuchikage...and why would masashi kishimoto build so much suspense for a character's face if we already knew who he is...(kakahi is a different story...although we dont know how he looks we do know who he is)...yeah kisame called him madara but there are plenty of explinations for that...it could have been genjutsu from tobi's sharingan...seems to me that ninjas from kirigakure are very susceptible to sharingan genjutsu...tobi once controlled the misukage so he is capable...and kisame was in his early 30s before he died...he only knows of madara...so from a writers point of view if you have characters in a story who can provide definitive prof in this situation why would you use one that cant...kishimoto did it on purpose foreshodowing the surprise

consider the fact that this anime constantly displays uchiah and other sharingan users dominating kirigakure ninja...kikashi over zabuza...tobi over the former misukage...sasuke's dominance of suigetsu...i wonder why itachi was parred with kisame...to futher prove this take a look at ep 82 of the original naruto series...kisame is about to attack kekashi again and itachi tells kisame "if you fight him head on, you will suffer unnecessary injuries" and this was said after kekashi already one upped kisame and had him confused

When you say a phrase like "There's still a possibility that Madara is tobi." It makes it sound like you are saying that the guy with a mask known as Madara could be the guy with a mask known as Tobi, as the first person named should be the one who's identity is in question, and the second should be the solution.

IE. if I said 'there's still a possibility that Babe Ruth is a baseball player', everyone thinks "well, duh", but if I say 'there's still a possibility that a baseball player is Babe Ruth', then everyone will say, "it could be".

I personally am not sure if it is Madara or not, the web of lies he created are hard to penetrate, mostly because we don't know what exactly he is trying to hide. As I stated earlier the only thing that really makes me question his identity is his appearance.

If a new character comes that is a different case. Otherwise I think that Madara is tobi and the 6th corpse which gave a shock to Madara is also Madara's. This would be a bit confusing but just think. None of the Hokages can be revived as their souls are sealed. Other Kages are not so threatening to Madara. I have got a theory to support this. I actually like this theory as it fills in pretty much all the holes.
Gives it a twist without introducing new characters, or re-introducing old ones with a new huge backstory (just a little one, but there was going to be that regardless whenever the corpse and madara are explained).

As for Madara wearing a mask, the few glimpses we have seen inside the mask seem to lead to him having a horribly disfigured face. Whether it be the mounds of sagging skin when revealing himself to Sasuke, or the big hole looking thing on the (our right, his left) side of his face when his mask was broken in the fight with Konaan.

Pride seems to be more prevalent and encouraged in Japan, so just that would be a good reason for him to continue to wear the mask.

I think the mask person is really Izuna and the corpse to be Madara....Izuna could have pretend to be Madara all this time. He could have lied about the past where he state that it was the older brother Madara who took the younger brother Izuna eyes. Also it can't be the 4th because Kabuto even states a reason why he couldn't revive the 4th, don't remember where tho.
