and it makes the most sense why would he be scared of him seeing his face. itachi thought he was madara he could care less about his face he didnt want sasuke to take revenge against the village.

We know that Madara wants Sasuke to join him enough that he is willing to lie in that conversation and it is proven that he does lie.

We know that Madara is making assumptions when talking to Sasuke.

There's absolutely no reason to think he wouldn't tell more lies.
The fact that there is some truth in there is just to make the lie(s) more believable, it isn't proof that everything else is truth, far from it.

I personally believe that everything he said about Itachi's trap is a lie, There is great reason to doubt Tobi's explanations when Itachi's goal and his are so far apart. After all Itachi said "Sasuke could easily be died any color" implying he was easy to manipulate.


As for why Itachi would be scared of Sasuke seeing Tobi's face, well I don't know, why is he hiding it at all?

normally i would say its someone mentioned or we have seen. but i dont think so i think when madara left the village he met tobi and made the plan together then madara came back and fought the 1st so on and so on. tobi knows to much to be anybody we have seen. and seems to be an amazing medical ninja. i think he was someone who aided madara and when madara died he is carrying on his plan

But Tobi's sharingan can be seen through the mask so i don't get what your meaning. Moreover i don't think there is a jutsu that needs you to show another person your whole face in other to control him.

how would showing an activated Sharingan get the trust of Sasuke? If it was just the Sharingan then Tobi could have just de-activate it(if he can) or simply relay the top secret info about Itachi with other supporting evidences. And even after seeing it, Sasuke still hasn't trust Tobi as he ask Danzo if it is true or not.
Itachi made some plans to counter the event wherein Tobi will do something to gain Sasuke's trust. Removing Tobi's mask will definitely reveal his eye before his whole face, thus preventing Tobi's attempt to fully gain Sasuke's trust.

and if u noticed madaras eyes are active the hole time to so that is probably what a ems looks like active all the time. it really wasnt to gain sasuke trust but to corrupt him. he new there was another person involved in the massacre so seeing tobis eyes would get him to listen. his face doesnt mean shit to sasuke. that last sentience helps prove my point.

ok so obviously the fake madara (or tobi) is the same as kakashi in the way that he has a single sharingan that stays active most of the time or all the time and now has a rinengan as you may have noticed the orange mask he wore before had only one eye hole to conceal that he was not a full uchiha and the second mask has two eye holes on for the sharingan and one for the rinengan which sasuke has no clue about yet because he has been off doing his own thing recovering from his eye transplant and going off to war so madara is decieving sasuke evn more by becoming even more powerful and further driving sasuke towards revenge of his clan.

as for the identity of tobi i can not be sure as to who that is but there are many great candidates that we know little about but the storyline could easily introduce a new player at any time so we just have to wait for the mask to come off. but the techniques that he has give us a clue as to whos eye he may have and his summoning technique of course must have a back ground to itself as well.
