It's true the technique requires chakra to begin, but chakra is half physical energy, by stimulating your cells, you get a massive influx of chakra too.

She says it can repair damaged tissues and organs. The key word there is damaged. Missing is completely different from damaged.
What the hell do you think happens when your body heals a cut?
It creates new cells to fill in the hole left there.
In other words, GENERATING NEW CELLS IS HEALING.

She can't create random MISSING shit, all she can create is stuff that SHE does have that is DAMAGED.

(notice how she is calling it a healing jutsu)

In other words it could be used to heal what would be fatal wounds in other circumstance, and this is how she uses it. If it was capable of regenerating lost limbs or functioning on other people it would have been brought up by now (cough - Rock Lee).



If you really are a biology major, I hope my life never rides on your expertise, because you just told me that growing new cells isn't part of the healing process. What the hell do you think scar tissue is?
