Dodai: Nice one . I never expected the great lord Raikage would have been defeated by a kid.

Naruto: Rubber guy, your help was awesome!

Dodai: I think we should find the Second Mizukage. The Kazekage and the Tsuchikage are fighting him. He’s incredibly dangerous, according to what I heard.

Naruto: What’s his power?

Dodai: As the story tells, he possessed a kekkei genkai known as the Frost Release, which allowed him to freeze every single molecule of water in the enemy’s body, freezing it for eternity. He also possessed a unique summon, the Giant Clam which boosted his natural power of Yin Release; consequently he’s an expert in genjutsu, and can cast a mirage of himself. He’s a tough bone to chew. He provided a golden age for the Hidden Rain, in military terms.

Naruto: We should get moving then…

Dodai: Right, hold on. Byakugan!

Naruto: (Byakugan? The same eyes as Neji and Hinata!)

Dodai: There’s a sensing barrier 200 meters from here. It must be the Mizukage’s doing. I can’t see past it.

Naruto: How did you got the Byakugan?

Dodai: From a Hyuuga I once fought. Brave soldier, however this is irrelevant now.

Naruto: Let me try.

Naruto tries to enter the Kyubi mode, but fails.


Dodai: Don’t abuse that power, Bee used to be like you. If you are on your limit, don’t force it.

Naruto enters Sage Mode.

Dodai: ( Those eyes again?)

Naruto: Those are Old man Oonoki’s chakra and Gaara’s. There’s a third chakra which I don’t know, it must be him. But they are far behind the barrier, they are at least 700 meters from here.

Dodai: Let’s go.

Scene changes to Gaara. Oonoki is unconscious. Gaara is shown to be exausted, the sand protect him has many holes, and it’s partially torn apart. He’s breathing heavily.

Gaara: What.. is this power?

Mizukage: Kid you better protect yourself. And you better defeat my Clam fast, or many people will not see the next day, you included. Modesty apart, I’m quite powerfull

Scene changes to Kabuto. He’s shows a half concerned, half amused face.

Kabuto: ( Enough babble funny guy. I must hold on to this one, he’s my best shot to buy time. Damn Naruto defeated the Third Raikage, one of my best soldiers. Who would have thought?) The 2nd Mizukage snaps, and loses his personality.

Gaara: ( Here he comes)

Mizukage: Frost Release: Fragments of the Underworld

The Mizukage freezes the air in contact with him , and concentrates many icy shards on his palms, that are fired at Gaara. Gaara only has time to cover himself with sand to avoid contact. His sand is pierced and blown apart from all directions. Frozen patches appear on the ground, where some ice rebounded.

Gaara: ( He froze the moisture in the air again… That must be his technique, he can freeze the water molecules around him. That’s why my sand wasn’t frozen. I’ll probably be in trouble if that ice touches me.)

A hurt shinobi struggles to talk to Gaara.

Sand Shinobi: Kazekage-sama… You must defeat the clam… the clam is the secret to his power.. the cl… his summon…

He dies.

Gaara: ( Now it makes sense. It must be the summon that is casting the mirages.)

The mist denses; Gaara grabs the Tsuchikage, and pulls back. He places the old man in the top of a rock formation. Several copies of the Mizukage are seen coming from the mist.

Gaara: ( My chakra sensing sand is useless, they all share the same chakra)

Mizukage: Frost Release: Acupuncture

The mirages, and the real one hidden create small , long needles of ice from the dense moisturized mist and throw them at Gaara. He’s unable to tell which are mirage, and which aren’t.

Gaara: Sand Tsunami

A huge wave of sand engulfs the mirages , apparently countering the jutsu. The ice needles pass through the sand.

Gaara: ( ??!! The needles are thin enough to pass through?)

Gaara’s sand armor is pierced. His skin is untouched, but he’s forced to abandon the sand covering his body.

Kabuto: ( Gaara… You just don’t die do you? I remember you weren’t such a confident boy when your sand was wet…)

Gaara form’s too large sand arms that charge at the Mizukage. He prepares some seals.

Mizukage: Water Release: Condensation

The water in the mist liquifies , and falls over the sand arms, wetting all Gaara’s sand. It crumbles , useless. The Mizukage places his palm on the sand. It freezes it all the way to Gaara; he steps away to avoid contact.


Gaara: ( I’m exausted… I have chakra for just a couple more jutsu’s…And now my sand is useless. I need to infuse more sand. I must defeat the clam. )


Gaara places his palm on the sand below. He senses the clam, hidden underground. Gaara waves his right hand, in a constant circular motion. The sand in the area, slowly, starts moving and revolving. Minutes later, it’s moving fast, resembling boiling water. Gaara has his palms placed on the ground now; the clams are exposed. Arms all over try to grab them, but only the real is grabbed. The arm rises in the sky before disapearing. The Clam is in free-fall.

Gaara: Ultimate Shukaku Spear

Sand is compressed in Gaara’s hand, forming a large steel-hard spear. He then impales the clam in mid-air. It’s shell is broken; it is defeated. The mist disappears, as well as all the mirages. Pieces of shell rain over the two of them.

Kabuto: ( I underestimated him…)

The mizukage forms some seals.

Mizukage: Blind Deceiving

The Mizukage emits two violent bangs of black light from each hand. Gaara stops in his tracks; he is almost caught in a genjutsu, but closes his eyes at the last second.

Gaara: Sand Bullets

Sand balls rain over the Mizukage. When the dust settles, icy mirrored pannels forming a cube cover him completly; Gaara’s jutsu was useless, he is severely weakened now. The mizukage concentrates water in his forearms. He forms a large sword on his right hand, and a shield on his left. The shield appears to be fused with the arm. The mizukage walks for Gaara, going for the kill.

Scene switches to Naruto.

Naruto: ( Gaara’s chakra… it feels weaker, I can barely sense him. NO !)

Naruto: Rubber Guy, let’s hurry, they need our help!
