I glanced up the road. It had been almost 3 years since I last saw Naruto.
I sighed and headed toward the training ground, where I was going to train with Tsunade and Sakura.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked Sakura, since Tsunade wasn't there yet.
"What makes you think I know?" she replied.
She was right, it was always a surprise what Tsunade decided to teach us next.
I sat on the ground, and stared at the clouds, wondering once again when Naruto would come back.
After awhile, we realized that Tsunade was late, so we started to look for her, we found her at the village gates.
"Why are you here?" I asked.
"It's been two and a half years, Naruto is supposed to come back soon." she replied as she looked down the path. "I guess not today." she said, and started to walk away "Let's start the training, Shall we? We'll work a bit in the hospitals to start."
I walked after her silently, still wondering about Naruto.
"'Ey Granny!" I heard a voice say from behind me.
I turned around. "Naruto!" I screamed, as I saw a faint orange-ish figure outside the gates.
The figure stopped, "Suzu?" he said, as I caught up to him.
"Yep." I said, and smiled at me "At least you recognize me." I smiled, and hugged him.
He hugged me back "It's been so long." he said, then stepped back "Do I look any different?" he asked.
I looked up, "You're taller." I said, with a slight glare, we used to be the same height. I had only grown an inch or so.
I glanced behind Naruto and saw Jiraya walking up, "Oh hey Jiraya, I almost forgot that he was training with you." I said, and laughed slightly.
"Suzu? You look different." He said.
"Thanks?"
"Jiraya.. Long time no see." I heard Tsunade's voice say from behind me, they must've walked instead of ran out here.
"Enough small talk, we gotta get you home." I said, as I grabbed his arm.
We both started running to his house, he was clearly a little lost, the only reason I remembered was that I was his neighbor.
Once we got there, I pulled out my spare key and unlocked the door. "Jesus!" I yelled, seeing all the dust over everything.
I ran into my room, and came out wearing an apron, plastic gloves, and tons of cleaning tools.
After his room was clean, we stared at our team photo. I bit my lip and looked away. I wasn't ever a big fan of Sasuke, but I loved him more like a brother. Like Naruto did.
I hugged Naruto, then left him alone in his room.
