Sword of the Heavens 3: The Black Sannin - Part 1
It began once again, the sword rose again, from the depths of the abyss, sealed in an ancient church in the forest of death; humanity would get one final strike of disaster from the Sword of the Heavens.

It had been 5 years since the big move, and it was time for the next, this time I wouldn’t miss it. I packed up my things 2 weeks before, but that wouldn’t matter, we would be all dead within the next week, the Hidden Shadow Village would be demolished.

It all started Saturday morning, with an unwelcoming greeting from Saishi sensai. “Leo, rise and shine!” “Ugh…why…it’s Saturday?”, “So, we have training to do”. I steadily rose out of bed Karei wasn’t too happy about it “Where you going Leo?” she said softly, “Sensai wants me to train, I don’t know why but it’s best I go.” “Okay, love you” I bent down and gave her a kiss goodbye, not knowing this would be the last time I would see her.

I followed Saishi outside and asked him why are we training, he replied by saying, “You’ve got a mission really…and it concerns the Sword of the Heavens.” I was shocked. He explained how someone stole it from the ancient church and fled, he said the only thing the priests saw were red clouds, which covered his body. We suspected the Akatsuki; an evil organisation that contains ninja’s from various villages. Saishi explained how he was going to join the mission and how we were going to finally take down the Akatsuki. We needed to recruit ninja’s from various villages to help us take them down. First stop, the Hidden Rain Village.

It was the most guarded village I’d ever seen, patrols all around the perimeter, 24-7 search lights. I didn’t know how to get in, but Saishi said we could take the sewers. We will search from below like a cautious antelope grazing in a vast plain. We pasted many manholes in the sewers but none of them were open, luckily. I could hear the buzz of people going through there daily routines above, footsteps of people with dreams, hopes and fears. We arrived to a ladder, which didn’t look any different from the others we past but Saishi said it was the one we needed to find, then he showed me a number, it was the number 000-01, which meant it was the first manhole and was located in a abandoned warehouse. It was time to move. Saishi push up the manhole and looked around, there was nobody here, I followed him up and took a look round myself; it was damp, disgusting and vile, kind of like that old lady’s inn in Chippoke.
