I thought the captain’s idea was great. So, all three of us quickly donned the masks and uniforms of three of the fallen black ops. The problem was that there was a fourth member of that Captain Sarutobi had slain.

“Captain,” Hoshi began. “How do we make a fourth member?”

“Hold on,” he answered. Captain Sarutobi pulled out a scroll and summoned a body that was dressed in the fourth uniform.

“Nice,” I said. “Lets’ do it.”

With that accomplished, we walked into the village, with no one bothering to question us. Captain Sarutobi and the summon went off in one direction, and Hoshi and I went another, so we could cover more ground. As we walked, I took in every detail with my Sharingan, and I could tell that Hoshi was doing the same with her Byakugan. Several minutes later, we noticed a large gathering of ninja, both Grass and Ocean, near the Village Leader’s mansion. Matching the patterns of other ANBU teams, we fell into a steady patrol around the building.

“Hoshi,” I said. “See what’s going on in there.”

She nodded and peered inside. She described what was happening. The two leaders from the ninja villages were sitting before three people, that weren’t really people, but powerful sources of chakra. In between them was a model of the Leaf Village with plans for an assault. As Hoshi continued to view the scene, she fainted.

“H-Hoshi,” I said as I grabbed her. “Great.”

I laid her down on the ground and did a quick check of her vitals. She was fine, just in a coma. The only thing I could do now was deliver a message to the captains. So, I summoned four ninja hounds. I explained the situation to them and sent three of them off-one to each captain, and the third to my godfather.

“Ok,” I finished. “We need to wait till she wakes up, or someone else gets here.”

“Yeah,” my ninja hound said as he listened for any sign of someone getting too close.
