i like the old ones more. when they first came out with the troops and their laser guns that was like hte first of its kind so it was like a REALLY big WOW to the people who saw it in the theatre. and i don't like anakin's acting at all. so fake. bleh he ruined it. i thought the newest one was slow too

yea i agree to an extent.what really confuses me is u kno the clone trooper in 1 2 3 ar like the same but they totally change in 4 5 6 i think they should of made it make better sense or explain it more

I like both. But if i had to choose, i'd pick the newer ones. I watched the newer ones first, that's why.... and i only got to see parts of the older ones.

I like them both about equal. I think the newer ones light saber fights were a little more fun to watch though.

whole episode III suxx (everthing is predictable)

The effects are better, but the story ain't better then the older ones

the stories were based on the old ones there mean to be predictable it was just a run on darfvaders life from childhood

It explains this in the Star Wars games-- the ones who made the clones rebelled and created 'antitroopers' which were just the normal clones with a different mindset... after the rebellion was quelled, the Empire decided that an army of identical clones was too easy to corrupt, so they began cloning many different people...

Overall I would have to say that I liked the new ones better-- Jedi's just pwn, and there were alot more in the newer ones :p

i like the old ones....the stroyline and acting were really good. In the new ones, they depend too much on looks and special effects, and the acting and story get lost...

I would have to say the newer ones. The old star wars storyline was confusing to me. As soon I watched the new Star Wars movie that came out last year alot was making sense to me. Guess I should go ahead and watch the first 3 old ones again...that is when I get myself a new vcr as my old one died...

i like the old ones, there was more acting skill involved, and u actually followed a storyline. the new ones mostly depended on special effects....they fell back on that as a safety net instead of pushing the character roles....

the old ones were of so much better quality than the new ones...the special effects for the time is amazing, the acting was decent and the story was great. In the new ones there's unspectacular special effects (for the time), horrible acting and dialogue, and subpar plot (not to mention jar-jar). they new ones could have been so much better...

Old is the best, though Revenge of the Sith was a worthy successor.

the old ones were way better. originally lucas only wanted to make the last three cuz he didnt have enough money, but decided to go back and do the first three cuz of the fans. by that time the new ones didnt have to be as good because it had an army of sw fans to back it up. though i think episode one was really good, anakin wasnt a gay whiny kid

loads of reasons why earlier ones were better... anakin was really really money and gay....
for the time the effects were amazing in the old ones... and the new ones could have been soooo much better... i mean the fight sequence in 2 with yoda was decent but they could have done more with force powers.... really the only thing forcewise that i remember in number 2 is the lightening and anakin cutting sum pears up... sad... so much could have been done...
but the best star wars charater is yoda... DEFINATELY

new ones have to many speacial effects, and its like %80 CGI, so they suck.
