Wow, I'm surprised no one made this yet...So this is how it goes:For any of you who don't know, Peter Jackson directed all 3 Lord of the Rings.(Just a side note) Anyway, this movie was amazing. It was funny, interesting, thrilling, and easy to follow. Definitely a 10/10 movie, though the ending made me sad, despite already knowing what was going to happen having seen the 1939 movie and the 1960(which sucked) something movie. I advise you all to go see this, it's awesome.

Sounds like you're talking about a game Shiek.
I'll see it after I see Narnia. But maybe sooner. Looks very good though.

great movie easly a 10
" there only one thing that could have made tracks this big,the adomniable snowman" lmfao

:D That was funny.
Seriously, it was one of the best films I've ever seen, easily. Anything Peter Jackson touches turns to gold. I was surrounded by idiots not taking it seriously. I wished so many people in that cinema would DIE.

wow a movie where jack black is actrually serious too lol

12-18-2005, 02:41 PM
I wouldn't say he was serious... but it was one of his more mature roles :P

I didn't like Jack Black as a bad guy though...or a "tweener" anyway. It was funny when everytime someone died though, he said "We'll donate the procedes to his wife and children." Lol...Also, Jack Black pissed me off, because of the way they formed the relationship between Ann and Kong. Kong was a good monkey, and it's Jack Black's fault he was killed. >_<

Yeah... it was the first movie in which I've ever felt sad :(

the best scene is when kong vs t-rex,
not just 1, but 3 fierce t-rex..COOL :)
but overrall, my opinion is..
compared w/ lord of the ring trilogy (10/10) n titanic by j.cameron (10/10)
i gave king kong.. (8,5/10)
it lacks in story script n sholud be in 120-150 minutes play time
instead of 3 hours
the 1976 version was much better n more enjoyable for me :)

Have not seen it yet :(

i saw it a few days ago. some scenes such as the t-rex fight were good. But in general, as you would imagine a movie with a 25ft ape would be, its weird ^_^

lol the kissing scene with Adrien Brody and Naomi Watts was hilarious, did you see the guys nose squish against her face, (no offense Adrien, you da best :P)

the movie has too many highs and lows, then again Peter Jackson did that with Lord of the Rings....some parts they could have left out like when kong was on the ice in central park skating around
