the third one is the best, color and flow is what i like about it!
also it was the type of tag was expecting JEFF to have made =O lol
first i think needs better colors..everythings too mixed in and second is just inbetween nice~

The placement of text, flow and colours are spot on to me on the second tag.
The blue on the left of the first tag, I don't know about. Maybe try a not so light colour?
Keep up the good work though.

argh! if only your colors are better, the second and third would be great. The second one the colors you got there make it seem low quality, so gradient maps would make it better, and the third you need to slap on some gradient maps to get ride of all that random clashiness O_o
But object placement is pretty good.

The colors aren't too bad, but yeah they class pretty harshly, even when i do tags in color i usually end up using at least one gradient map and various other coloring techniques along with them. layer masks are my friend :)

nice tag. Like the blending and shapes, but text is out of place. Also, something about the left side doesn't quite flow, that part either needs to be moved over to be on top of the stock, or make it seem like it's behind. THen, add more stuff above it so there's more depth.

Stock is fine. Just get a better font, and position it better. Blending and smudging are wicked, and make the blues pop more by increasing saturation or something.

something new. i asked someone to make a tut for the sig they made..cause it was kinda like this one...was told there was no way i could learn it in a day...so i decided to try it..cause i had the basic idea of how..and i learned it in about 5min-10min
this is just a test run...ill get better (its not better than the original one i got the idea from)

Anyways, you might have gotten the effect, but you don't have his sense of positioning and lighting, which is what's lacking here.

i was mainly shooting for the effect..ill work on positioning and lighting later on..i dont plan on making sigs like that...i shall mix that effect into some other sig

PS froze then unfroze a bit later and lagged. then those showed up. i didnt want to restart or try to cover it up..cause i was lazy and thought it would just go away once the sig was done..since i didnt put them.

I have a question. Given enough time and practice, will I be able to create these magnificent pieces of art with my cracked CS2? I know that some commands don't work on the cracked version, so I was wondering.

Snake and samus i will draw, when i get my photoshop tablet sensitivity working again.

Actually Fogun, all commands should work on a crack PS. Once you get familiarised with the features, give it 2 years (or less) and you should be able to do as much as you want, whenever you want.

Sorry to intrude, but shouldn't "smudge sig battles" consist only of smudging and not using filters such as topaz? I personally have nothing against topaz, it's just that for all smudge battles, it wouldn't make much sense to use it, because it completely alters the smudging.

it depends on the person who set it up..in my case i said smudge tool will be your main brush work..you can use w/e filters you want.
