I want to know how to make a good wallpaper. I know a bit of Photoshop coz I experimented on it to touch up some pictures we were going to host on our website. But what I know I mostly got it just from trial and error. And when I look at some of the wallpapers (anime wallpapers) that I really like, they seem to be pretty hard to make. Okay, so maybe they really are hard to make - what I meant was that I just knew I couldnt do those stuff at the level Im at. So if anyone here is an experience wallpaper designer, maybe you could gimme some hints on how to make a good one? Im going to study how to make it - my problem is just that I dont know where to start. So if you could just point me in the right direction (like if you know of a good site that teaches this stuff), I'd be eternally grateful. THanks, thanks! :D

Overlapping each other? Is the image you're using a two-overlapping-images-saved-as-one file? If that's the case, then my only advice is to look for another image file and use it as ur wallpaper. If it's not, maybe u could check the settings on your computer. (Start->Settings->Control Panel -> Display) Maybe it's just a bug there. :) Hope that helps.

You can always try some tutorials littered around the web.

What exactly are you guys wanting to know about...brushing...imaging...etc?

If you are wanting to know how to make some real tight backgrounds I would suggest 3D Max er something to create mettalic and 3D effects which are primarily used in wallpapers.

If you are talking about simple brushing etc then PM me or something for more details!

Just to let you know using 3D Max is pretty hard if you do not know how to work things like photoshop etc.

Hey Kagami, do you make anime wallpapers? Generally, how do you do it? Is it really just copy-and-pasting images plus a few special effects here and there or what? And what's 3D Max - I mean, what kinda software is that? Thanks, and I'll try ur suggestion. :)
