All that happened in the end was the humans stopped halo from killing off all life in the galaxy, and they find out that theres a bunch of other halo's, then Master chief returns to Earth and the comander dude says," what the hell are you doing on that ship?" and master chief says ending this fight. and then it cuts to the credits.

There is little part after the credits buuuttt im not gonna tell you that muwahahahaha
I think since this game was so short they we're just setting us up for Halo 3&4 which are already in production -__-

Gameplay is good..

But the Ending was gay and the length of the game.

I absolutely hate the story mode because its just boring. Mutliplayer is fun... even though i die the most. My friend has online set up and I tried it... got owned but still, its cool. I also played socom 2 online on PS2 which I am actualyl good at.

True I was hoping to go bck to Earth and kick ass.

Im still playing, but i want some other people to help me out in the story mode. Its a great game, and love it. And yes, halo 3 should be out too.

Im still playing it and its a really cool game and i think that it did live up to its hype. But i cant wait for San Andreas to come out for the Xbox though, it'll probably be around a year but i have Halo 2 to hold me over till then.

If you complete halo 2 on any difficulty setting, but perform a "tutorial move" in the final level/fight (not sure which) you get the level Foundation, for system link play, I believe, that's what the guy down the hall said and did, and we got 6 people playing on that level, was pretty sweet! also, the same guy spent 3 DAYS!!! trying to beat it on legendary, because someone said there was a hidden trailer for the next Halo game if you did so. still not sure if thats true, but he got well annoyed after 3 days playing the last level on legendary, but it did make him a damn good MP shot :/

And my opinion on the game is it rocks. It's a Multiplayer game with a single player (co-op) option. Much more fun with other people to (ahem *glares at Tim who lives futher down the hall* shoot you off the edge of stuff when you've got the only shotgun in the level :/ ) try and complete it with, ands a twist to the game :)

sorry bout the double post but
i beat the game on easy normal and heroic and then went to play legendary and couldnt get passed the second checkpoint on the first level. that pissed me off seeing i went to my bros place (hes in college) and i played against 9 different people through the night and morning :D and beat them all i didnt lose once. but then to go and play legendary wow was that a reality check

Yeah legendary is really hard. Still, its a good game but it just has a gay ending.

that hidden trailer when you beat it on legendary is MC hugging someone --^ ya its weird. I saw it on this site that had H2 glitches and easter eggs? im too lazy to actually find out who he hugs or sumthing

to be honest halo 2 was kinda a disappointment I prefered halo alot better. Legendary isn't that hard if you play it every day like my friend 24/7

I do believe that the length was pretty crappy. However, I found the ending just fine. The cliffhanger effect.

Overall, though, I think this game shines through the most over X-Box Live. The intense gameplay that one can endure, and the fact that it's harder if you're not staring at your opponent's screen is all just awesome. Favorite type of game would have to be Team Slayer.

As for the Legendary movie, I don't know. Master Chief hugging someone? Hmm...sounds pretty odd to me.

yes, but it is not on legendary, once u beat the game on heroic u should get a new map called foundation, but it's small and not really worth it

to play online? get xbox live starterkit (12 month, $60-70., comes with crimson skies) choose either wireless or router for connection. go to xboxlive section in xbox, enter internet info, credit card number, and the code for xboxlive. This was my first time playing the halo series and i was impressed, except the ending. Whats up with gravemind asking cortana something. I was playin on easy hehe.

I beat the game 3 times and slaughtered my whole family in multiplayer. Now I need Xbox live. Where do I get It?? Do I just plug my Xbox to my computer??

halo 2 is one of the best games ever. (not better than mario 64 but...) and Xbox Live is awesome. I was interested in starting a clan but I don't think anyone would join. the only bad part is you can't pick your maps in ranked games. so you have to live with what the system gives you.

All aside excellent game but I wish they would have done the whole earch takeover thing like they show in the previews instead of ending it. Anyone else feel slightly cheated? But still a good game!

Halo 2 is an ecellent game sure the story mode is short and it gets boring playing it over again, But if u have Xbox live then Halo becomes one of the funnest games ever because there is no end to the fun and excitment you can experience

He's not white, he's brown; A European Indian. He's also my neighbor, I found out a bit ago. Also, tennisballer, how many times did you die till you got a checkpoint? And, no offence meant, but I know that your cousin is better than you and probably did a lot of the work, seeing as you brag about him so much. It does count if you beat it on legendary with a friend, but it counts more if you're equal skill level with the one you're playing with and even more if you do it alone (I still haven't beat more than 2 or 3 levels on legendary yet.
