who came before the first hokage? was it just no one or was it someone? that is the question. thingy

um i`m not sure but wasn`t the first hokage who created the village?

It came in the series. Or at least something like it was indicated. I remember clearly that the 1st and 2nd started it all off. aruko_samaki is right. =D

I think before knoha was just an old beaten up village and then came the first and the second and they rievived konoha na dmade it a nbinja village

So if there was no one before the first and second Hokage, then who decided that they were Hokage statis? I know that they were really powerful, but how did the whole thing start where you had to be named Hokage?

I guess the first and second came up with the word 'Hokage', and also, It was mentioned when Tsunade was thinking about Naoki and Dan, and her little brother said, " This village is Grandfather's treasure, and I will protect it ". This shows that it was the first who created it, with the help of the second Hokage.

Yes we know... we're talking about predictions for what might have happened before the first and second Hokage. I think that the Village was cursed in everlasting fire then the First came along and did some weird things and ended the curse, and thus called it the Fire Country (as you all know that Ho means fire)

Exactly. First Hokage created The Hidden Leaf Village [Konoha]. All the other Hokages have been elected by some counsel that hasn't been talked about much yet.
