Kurosaki Ichigo is a 15 year old student, with the ability to see ghosts. His life was forever changed when he met Kuchiki Rukia, a Death God, who is charged with sending lost souls to the afterlife, known as Soul Society.

Whilst saving Ichigo from the attack of a malevolent ghost known as a Hollow, Rukia sustained serious injuries. Unable to finish the battle, she offers to share her powers, and responsibilities, with Ichigo who takes up her job as death god.

and trust me on this one this series sucks at the beggining, I know I watched. well it was ok but not that great. Anyway later on in the series. It completely jumps into such an awsome story you will not be able to stop watching it. seriously. you can ask anyone who has seen it. They will tell you it is obsessingly awsome.

In the world of bleach exists Shinigamis(Death Gods) who are in charge of purifyin hollows and sending wondering souls to Soul Society. Ichigo, The main Character, is an ordinary high school student, or something like that, he got his Death God powers from another death god, Rukia, in order to save his family and thus the story begins (or is it continues). lol
