Hiya all
I was recently so bored
and so I decided on making a thread like this
anyways what other languages do you speak??
my mother-langage is Arabic
and I speak english fluently

I kind of speak Telegu. I spoke when I was a little kid, and then I spoke English. Unfortunately, I forgot Telegu, but I can still understand it, just not speak it. For those who don't know, Telegu is a European Indian language.

Dutch English German all fluently exept german... German sounds like Dutch but yeah if you wanna learn it.. Good luck :D i think its pretty hard.. espescially those adverbs (??) Die Der Das Deinem Einem bla bla bla bla bla god I hate those... :S
I can speak English fluently.
I can speak French okay.
I can swear in Arabic :p, count and I know a bunch of phrases that I've never needed to use because most people speak enough English. :)

Sakura - German is moderate if you know english REAL well because the root language of english (Anglo Saxon) was a Germanic tribe back in the day. Grammar is hard, but to someone outside of English proficency it is easier to learn.
I want to learn Japanease. The hardest part there is learning charachters.

Yes, that is Latin.
I also speak Spanish to a certain extent, but I speak Latin better.

I know Spanish and a little bit of French. I know a little Japanesse and Koren because of my friend Young, but not that much to strike up a conversation. I also know a little German because of my friend Treasa, (she doesn't speak a word of english) but usually we just talk through paper.

all my subject at the university are in english.. so i can speak english i've attend an arabic school during my schooldays... so i can speak arabic
i've taken a lesson in mandarin for a year before i quit
there... 4 languages...

i can speak afrikaans basically i understand most of the thins but speakin still has a lot of problems........and i can speak a little of dutch since its close to afrikaans and a little jap and korean.....also some of french but thats my worst language

my worst language is mandarin.. barely speaks and can only write numbers in mandarin.. hehehe.. that is the toughest language i've learnt.. arabic is quite similar to english(in concepts) except the writing.. and malay is my mother language

Yes it is a language. :D It is the language of Curacao, which is the place where I was born. They also speak papiamento in for example Aruba.

i can speak english and chinese fluently, a bit of vietnamese (like a line or two lol like...may un guk and tan bell ngor gwa, something like that), know french but failed the exam so im currently taking italian instead, know a few swear words for italian aswell =D
oh and a bit of japanese due to mangas/anime. And a very little bit of madarin, learnt from tv...
I speak English Italian and spanish fluenty. I speak a little of "valenciano", very little of japanese and , well i can't really speak it but i can read and understand well, french.

French, German, English, Japenese, Italian.
I know at least a curseword in each of those languages.
Can't spell them though.

My primary language is Englush. I am semi-fluent in Spanish, you would think after 4 years of it and i would be able to speak it well. I can read some latin, but i only took one year of it. I would like to learn Arabic and Mandarin Chinese

Well that was a little "ataque" i had. I simply felt like changing the language. If you could understand what i've written before in spanish you'll see i may speak fluently but writing i suck!

Most people think that, specially those who speak language where there are no written accents. But after trying to learn japanese anything is easy for me.
I think that it may be difficult at first but after you learn how to make a sentence the rest will gradually become easier. You just have to keep practising!

It's a good idea. Spanish is a language which many people speak, and it's not that difficult to learn.

I should learn French so I can understand my Aunt when she talks in French to keep the conversation away from certain people :D
She used to use it to talk to her Ex in front of my cousins until they learned it :D then she just needed to find safe places.

hehehe....only basics...something like kindergarten studies....i used to attends arabic lessons a few years back, like when i was about 7 years old.....now not anymore....so now i forget most of the words....:p

My mother tongue is Cantonese. It's not really a language, it's a dialect of Chinese. I'm from Hong Kong and that's what people speak there. I could also speak English fluently, 90% Mandarin (the main form of Chinese spoken throughout the country) and 60% of French.

Erm, I wouldn't mind learning it. Can speak English but not very well. About the same standard as my written, if that's considered bad. Can speak and write Chinese. You see how I look like, you know why. Can understand Hokkien, some dialect. Was fluent last time when I was young. Now no longer. I'm learning Japanese independently!

My mother tongue is German (because I live in Austria and I was born here ^^), but I can also speak English fluently, a little bit of Spanish (but I forgot most of it), Russian (I´ve learned it for 8 years in school, but I´m better at understanding and translating, than speaking ^^°°°), I can understand Portuguese because my Mom is from Brazil and Romanian because my Dad is Romanian and I´ve learned Latin in school (it´s quite similar to Romanian), I understand French a bit, but I absolutely can´t speak the language XD And finally I can speak some Japanese (I´ve started to learn it) and I can read and write a bit.
That´s about it ^^ I still want to learn Japanese and Portuguese, so that i can speak it fluently ^^

wow, someome who actually WANTS to learn hebrew, and not having to be forced into it for 9 years...
good luck w/learning all those, though spanish isnt that bad, and since english is a germanic language, that shouldn't be that bad either
