I just wanna know how they get accepted in there.... i know Orochimaru, Itachi, Kisame, *SPOILER*Sasori, and that new guy in the manga are members but... how did they get accepted?

Well, it's probably because of their extreme, evil and superiour power which led them there.

I think they might find you if they are interested, but you definitely have to have some skill, so that they don't go wasting there time.

I think a few of them just have similar opinions and ideas, so they just decided to get together and form a group. Later, they just started recruiting other members. They all wanted to become stronger and they all have evil thoughts. I think the members are more like recruited by the organization, rather that they joined themselves.

Probably they were heard of, they were approached. The conditions would be that they had to be strong...

the members of akatsuki are exiled ninjas so i think they just met up and they built the organization so as to take revenge on the villages they originated.

This is all i can think of

Itachi: Killed off his whole clan
Kisame: Is one of those 7 mist swordmen and has the charka ating sword
Orochimaru: one of the three sannin

probably its cos they are missing nins, and are super classed criminals, so thats why they get accepted?

i dunno if zabuza would join the akatsuki, cos he was running his own business...gets paid then goes of assassinating the victim. i think zabuza would be happy staying how he is, since he gets paid to kill...hmmm

Like Typhoon said, they are most likely selected by Akatsuki rather then them signing up. And of course, you need a reputation to join Akatsuki. An evil reputation...

If Zabuza was alive and stronger he still prolly wouldnt want to join coz he likes working alone and shit but if he did wanna join then theyd prolly let him in any day i mean he killed bout a hundred ppl wen he was a kid even itachi didnt do that, itachi was bout 15-17 wen he killed the whole of the uchiha clan (apart from sasuke) zabuza was bout 9 or 10 wen he murderd those ppl. (but i wonder wat he would do if haku was alive as well, i mean would zabuza take haku wit him in akatsuki and even if he did wanna take him in would they let zabuza take haku in).

For people who are strong and have guts, and have done something very evilly bad...hate by most of the people (normal people) for what they have done. Have no where to go, not attach to any village. Then they can join Atkatsuki and do some evil missions. Mine thinking....

you probably have to be scouted by the head akatsuki guy, or pass a very malicious test, like killing your entire clan or sumthin (I'm looking at you Uchiha Itachi).

If anything i would say that you have to have a reputation, and it would have to be one known very well throughout the land. My guess would be that you could be in it if you constantly hear the jounin talking about someone evil and how much trouble they are.

I think it just started out with one guy wanting power, but he couldnt do it on his own so he hired the best there is. And he is probably extremely rich and a damn good fighter too in order to control all of these "god-like" ninjas.

Hrm hrm, you forgot another guy who's also in the Akatsuki. We only saw his sillouhette, however you spell it, but in the manga we could see a guy with sort of a venus fly trap hood. Wearing the akatsuki uniform. He seems uber to me.
