i dont really think that love hina was that perverted, hell its certainly way less perverted than what would happen had that show been produced and written in america. i think the japanese notion of what is perverted and what isnt kind of has a huge gap in it. either there are going to be extremely steamy borderline hentai sex scenes with very little taste(ikkitousen), or they are going to be poking fun at some poor guys hormonal changes and not actually have any sex scenes or nudity(love hina aswell as a million other ones, fmp comes to mind in a few episodes), hell they dont even hardly imply that characters have had intimate moments.
