We all know P.Manning was a great Qb who lead his team to the Super bowl. With him winning the SuperBowl does it make him an even greater QB, or was his legacy already there. Did he really need to win the SuperBowl to prove to everyone he was an amazing player and leader? Or did he really have to win the SuperBowl to complete his legacy?

i'm not sure... Manning already had a high rep before the superbowl...and if his rep was not the highest it could be...it is for sure now! i dnt think that he needed the superbowl, but it really did clear anyones doubts

I think he does and there is one big example to why and that is Dan Marino he has almost all the top records but no rings, and this knocks him out of most top 3 or 5. When it comes down they can not compete with Akiman and Monntana and others that have multiple rings. I think he would be hall of fame but not the greatest.

Peyton Manning can not be high on the hall of fame if he is ever inducted. Tom Brady is a way better QB than Manning. I meanm just look at his stats and then his recievers.

I don't think the superbowl proved that manning is an awesome QB, everyone knows that he is really good. It is nice to see that he has the ring and it is a good showing of his accomplishments. But I think all the superbowl showed was how much grossman sucked compared to manning

Um the colts had all the best players this year. The are the champions which means the best team. After the reg. season is over stats and stuff are all thrown out. To be the best you gotta play like the best and thats what they did thus them winning the superbowl. So I say he is the best QB for that year becasue he won the superbowl and was mvp...

I dont feel it did lol I mean the whole rain factor was a variable that could effect my whole judging of the superbowl.

But if R. Grossman was the best he would of beat Manning in the rain. You can't factor the weather actually because they should all be ready no matter what.

....there would be no QBs in the league. Seriously look at Manning's recievers; no wonder he does well.

Well then that factors in the fact that there really can't be a best without a TEAM. Without help from each other no one can do their job.
