I was just wondering what do you peeps think if any of these guys is going to die.Personally,I think some should,since the end will be after all Akatsuki are down,or so I think.Seeing Asuma died,and he wasn't much of a main story character,I think there should be some major Kohona deaths.
Will we see teams in battle with Akatsuki soon after Orochimaru/Sasuke arc?
You can add some other characters who you think will never see the end also.

well its a manga for young teens, so even if the adults start dropping like flies I'm sure the young'ens will make it to the end...except perhaps Sasuke, because his situation is so much more extreme.

By the end, I'm sure alot or some of the older Jounins would have been killed by Akatsuki members. I doubt any of the main, younger characters will die. But, possibly, Sasuke may die, or Naruto. :p

If Sasuke beats Oro in the upcoming arc, I have a feeling it will be a plot device aimed at making his eventual defeat/death at the hands of Itachi seem all the more dramatic, in which case naruto would have to avenge Sasuke and kill Itachi.

as of now, yeah, he probably would. Itachi would run circles around him, and Kisame can match him in chakra capacity and most definitely raw strength. Obito of course has his single sharingan;) and the Akatsuki Leader and the blue haired chick have yet to be revealed, which only means they're even meaner badasses than the rest of the lot. We've yet to see Zetsu's combat prowess, but he does have quite an appetite...

I'm not sure any of the rookie 9 wil die but I do think that maybe some of the jounin will die. Maybe Sauske.

Other than her, he'd maybe try and protect Gai, but then, why would he do that? Gai is above Lee. It could be that Sakura finds herself in a life and death situation against an Akatsuki member, so Lee jumps in and sacrifices himself to save Sakura. Or, Gai is the one to die protecting Lee. Since Lee does have a difficult time winning his battles, I don't doubt that Gai would definitely jump in and save Lee. That's actually more probable, since the new generation is meant to live on.

yes i can totally see gai doing that, and also lee would jump in to save just about anyone's life to be honest..... he i just that kind of charicter.

If she dies, it's only fair to have Tenten die also. But I don't see either of that happening. If it does happen, though, I bet it'll be an emotional moment. Ino and others are taking on an Akatsuki member, the others are down, Ino's almost down for the count, she tries something and fails, and is about to get killed....when Team 7 arrives. Sakura looks on in disbelief as her friend and former rival is about to get killed. OH THE DRAMA.

If Ino dies,that might serve for Sakura to go berserk :)
