I was just thinking couple weeks ago about what would happen if after the whole Orochimaru ordeal Naruto and Sakura managed to get Sasuke back to Konoha, do you think he would be put to jail for siding with the enemy or put on probation of the sort?

When Naruto becomes Hokage, Sasuke will be made the ANBU Captain or something. Or maybe he will just become a Jounin, but I can't really see him being anyone's sensei unless Itachi dies and Sasuke becomes much less emo.

With Sasuke and Naruto (assuming this also means that Aka is destroyed and Oro killed) the Konoha village would be ridiculously strong, though (considering they have guys like Neji and Shikamaru there as well), so maybe it will never happen. Who knows. I sure am a sucker for happy endings though, so I sort of hope it does.

First, I'll assume that Itachi is dead.

Sasuke will enter Konoha gate with a different personality. He'll smile a lot, speaks loudly, energetic, nice, and gives everybody 'good guy pose'.

Well, he did almost kill Naruto. Although he could argue that Naruto attacked him and it was in self-defense.

I think that he would be forgiven and if he is the kid who killed Oro the villain that killed the 3rd Hokage then he will be respected on the level of Naruto. Personally I would love to see the rookie 9 face off against AKA.

I think that if Sasuke comes back and has killed Orochimaru, he would most likely be forgiven since Orochimaru is a major enemy of the village, but if he killed Orochimaru and came back and they wanted to punish him could they even do it. I mean woldnt they understand how powerful he is to have killed Orochimaru and be kinda scard of his power as well as realize that he would be a very valuable asset to the village and could once again leave anytime he wanted to...but this all depends on weather or not he kills Orochimaru.

Well, if he were alone then yeah, I think after attaining revenge he'd simply waste away or live a meaningless life... but he's not alone, even if he thinks he doesn't need other people... His friends would help him and that's the beauty of the story, imo. The devotion, the strength, and the willingness to forgive and build a better future that Naruto and Sakura display is the strength of this series. For me, it is the most powerful theme/message and the most sincere.

I mean, I know I say Sasuke is my favorite character and individually he is - but at the same time I know fully that I would not appreciate him if it weren't for Naruto and Sakura and Kakashi. I think it could start a civil war in konoha between tsunade's forces and root due to the belive that sasuke should be put on trial and kill for being a traitor and going with oro. The real reason for the war would be that the ex-head of root whats to be hokage.

For Sasuke to return, something major must have happened, like Orochimaru being defeated, and/or Itachi being taken down. What will happen, as far as the cursed seal goes?

I agree that Tsunade's actions were wrong and a mistake, but I don't hold it against her because she was really confused/heartbroken and being tempted with the idea of reviving the two people she truly cared about... and probably feels responsible for in terms of their deaths.. especially Dan, who she could not save... >.< I happen to think Tsunade is a good Hokage though, and when the time comes (hopefully) she will protect Konoha once again with all of her might. ::loves Tsunade:: <3 XD

I think Sasuke is aware that Itachi's goal is Naruto, though I'm not sure if he knows about Akatsuki's plans for the bijuu.. though Oro probably has told him that information... Sasuke just hasn't stated it himself, so that's why I'm not 100% sure. XD But yeah, looking at it like that, maybe he would return to Konoha. But I think he's going to try to find Itachi/battle him alone.

Sasuke is after itachi and not konoha...sasuke never betrayed konoha(he fought till the end...even with the 4 ninjas)...sasuke probably has a plan to kill oro too(we saw it in the latest manga)...what he is seeking is power to kill itachi..when he fullfills it..i dont think he will be as crazy as now(i think he is a "calculated crazy guy").

Another thought has just occurred to me. Maybe Sasuke will never come back to Konoha all together become and wondering shinobi and only return as a freelancer and help out Konoha if anything big happens.
