Sakura walked through the town with her eyes down at her shoes. She had been working at the hospital since 8:00 that morning. Sakura checked her watch. "Wow 7:00 pm." Sakura truged on through the town when it started raining. "Great!" She ran through the town. Not looking where she was going she bumped into someone. "Oh I'm sorry." When she looked up she saw it was Sai. "O-oh hi S-sai." Sai looked down at Sakura and helped her up. "Hello Sakura." Sai said after he helped her up. "You should watch where your going." Sakura nodded and started to walk away but Sai stopped her. "Lets go to my house it warmer." Sakura stared at him blankly but followed along.

She stared at the ground and started crying because she felt like an ass. Suddenly she felt a warm arm around her body. "Sakura I love you too." Sai said grabbing her chin firmly but softly. He brought his lips down to meet her's. He pulled away gently. They stared into each other's eyes for a minute. "Sakura.." Sai whispered gently. His sweet breath swam across Sakura's face. Velvety black night cloaks the sky, while a perfectly round moon leaves a dull glow everywhere. Several stars shoot through inky darkness, complimenting the moon’s eerie beauty. The air is crisp, and few people are out strolling the streets of Konoha at this time of night. Well, excluding two young people who will be on a date tonight…

“Breathe in, breath out…” Sakura told herself as she looked at her figure in her large, oval mirror. She thought she looked fantastic; short, silky, pink hair combed to perfection, while she wore her favorite red shirt and usual black shorts. She looked the same as she did every day, and that was fine for her.

“I guess I do look good…” She said to herself as she began posing in front of her mirror. To her surprise, the reflection shattered and her beloved mirror breaks to miniscule pieces.

“WAHHH! I’M NOT THAT UGLY!!”

Sakura held a broken pride as she began walking towards the BBQ shop. She was to meet the love of her life there on a midnight date, and she honestly hoped that her mirror broke because it was old. Maybe Sasuke didn’t usually date her because she was ugly? Maybe so…

“Ne Sasuke-kun how are you tonight?” Sakura asked with a shaky voice as she looked at her finnne date.

Sasuke did look “finnnne” tonight. He wore his usual attire, and that was enough for any girl to go wild. His legs were spread out as he sat in a booth of the BBQ shop. He was relaxing, and he glanced at Sakura. He didn’t say anything, but his stone cold eyes welcomed her.

Not expecting to get a reply back from the tall teen, Sakura took an uncomfortable seat beside Sasuke. Sure, he had never taken her on a date before, and she was delighted, but why take someone to a BBQ shop?! Why was it open at this time anyway?!

Sakura pondered Sasuke’s date plans for a moment before a teenage girl came forward to the two. She had the shop’s generic waitress uniform on, with a generic name tag.

“What would you like…” ‘Sara’ asked with a tired, unexcited voice. The blond-haired teen looked very tired; her eyes were slowly drooping, and her body posture wasn’t exactly straight.

“What is there?” Sakura asked innocently to Sara, the also impatient waiter. Sara was clearly not entertained by her words.

“Sweetheart this is a BBQ shop…what do you think we have?” The waitress then doubled over, most likely out of exhaustion.

Sakura changed confused glances with Sasuke, before two people appeared from behind a curtain. They were both teenage boys, one with jet black, messy hair; the other with blond, peach-hair.

The attractive, cute, (well at least in Sakura’s view) blond boy took one look at Sara and sighed deeply.

“She’s hit the bottle again…” He said to himself as he began to drag the girl through the curtain. Meanwhile, the second, black-haired boy immediately came to Sakura and Sasuke’s booth. (They were the only ones in the shop, anyway.)

“Hi! What can I get for you?” ‘Matt’ asked in a friendly, high voice. Sakura was fantasying about his looks, her emerald eyes becoming hazy over the sight of him. Sasuke noticed this and began to get angry.

“Just get us something to eat, please,” He said in an inpatient voice. These waiters sucked in his view.

“Ok then,” Matt said easily. He then headed back towards the curtain. Sara had been dragged through that curtain, probably to rest.

Sakura stared at the curtain as several animal shrieks could be heard, and then a violent orange and red flare erupted and began to burn the curtain. The blond haired boy saw this, cussed profusely, and then put out the fire with drinking water. That was the end of that.

The kunoichi then turned her attention towards Sasuke, who was staring down at the tan table.

What an odd night this was.

i sank to my knees and looked around myself nearly everything was covered in booland Naruto lay a couple of meters infront of me... if it hadnt been for the blood youd think he was sleeping... even though he's... he had such a peaceful face... i have reached my goal but... at what price?? I got up and carried him to a tree and put him down in a sitting possition and sat down next to him buring my facein my hands. I sat there for hours without moving a single muscle as every memorie came flooding back... memories from when we first saw eachother at the park out test with kakashi sensei (the 3 bells and team work) out first class A mission (tazuna zabuza... haku) the chunnin exames (orochimaru kabuto the attack on konoha...gaara) up untill now... back then i had no real friends but now thanks to naruto i have so many... and every single one of them would risk their lives for me... the fact that i had any feelings at all and the the way i now amis thanks to naruto... naruto had this way of bringing out the best in me in every situation and how do i repay him?!?! with... with death?!?! what was i thinking..... what am i gonna tell sakura or anyone at all?? once again water trickeld down my face... i had started to rain...

...sakura... she told me more about his past and said that i should be nicer to him.... back then it hadnt intrested me but now i know why she told me what she did... she knew i would do everything to become stronger that itachi and that it would come to this... she told me not to... made me promise...

sakura:?!?!?!whta was that ?!
tsunade: sakura! what are you doing?! regulate your chakra flow! you're hurting him!
sakura:...what? oh! i'm sorry tsunade sensei...
tsunade: sakura? whats wrong?

Sasuke: Sakura?? *wakes up* oh it was just a dream.... I looked around and found Naruto leaning on me and was filled with dread.....
Sakura: Sasuke! are you alright? I had this bad feeling and came as fast as i could, but you to were sleeping so...?! Sasuke? why are your eyes red??
Sasuke: I said nothing and continued to stare at the ground
Sakura: Ok then, I'll ask Naruto-
Kakashi: No! dont Sakura....
Sakura: Why? I just wanted to wake...?! No! Naruto!! *slaps Narutos face* Sasuke!! You promised me you wouldnt!!!!!!! You- Sakura colapsed into tears... Why? give me a straight answer! i dont want to hear any of this revenge shit anymore!!!!
Sasuke: I got up, walked over to Sakura , huged her and said four little words, I'm sorry.... forgive me...
Sakura was shocked and b y the look on her face she wanted to say something but i didnt give her the chance... i started to run i ran untill i could no
more.... I was going to go crazy! Not only did i kill my best friend but also the person i trusted most... i betrayed him......

The fight
We both had nearly no chakra left and eventhough the Kyuubi was trying to pursuade Naruto to use his chakra Naruto resisted with all his might... he probalby wanted a fair fight.... We stood up readying ourselfs for our last jutsu, a sudden wind surrounded us with leavs and then i saw it, a slight movement of his hand... thinking he was going to attack i summond every bit of chakra i had left to use chidori. i ran and noticed that he hadnt moved.... i was confussed i wanted to stop but it was too late....You did it Sasuke.... now you are one step closer to kiling him... i'm happy for you... as lond as you're ok and happy i'm happy too... good luck....*dies*

Sasuke:No! No! No! I don't want to think about that anymore.....The pain was unbearable, worse than eny wound...it's the same all over again but this time it's my fault....

Sakura: ...Kakashi Sensei.... what are we going to do now? I mean how are we going to tell everyone that
Poof! Naruto had dissapeared
Sakura: Kakashi Sensei?!?! What just happened???

Sakura:! no.... of course not! i was upset but now you're standing infront of me! I know you're not dead but Sasuke doesn't!!

Naruto:*smiles* I'm glade you asked! I origionaly invented this jutsu(sorry...couldn't think of a name for it ^^') so i can escape from any fight if the opponent is too strong or if i get kiddapped. I needed someone to train with me so i asked Sasuke to train with me... we faught untill we nearly had nearly no chakra left. I used it as Sasuke charged at me with his chidori and was cofussed that i hadn't moved but my jutsu was already finished see? I can do it with a slight movement of my hand!
Sakura: Wow realy? can you show me?
Naruto: How about we find Sasuke first so he can see it aswell?
Sakura: Oh! yeah ok

Sasuke:... it's all my fault... on one will trust me ever again... and Salura... damm it! damm it! I'm such an idiot!

Naruto: Hey Sakura...I'll go first to see how he reacts.....

around to kakashi and sakura and told them to leave us alone with a couple of hand movements. Hey Sasuke... wanna go for a walk?

Sasu:As we walked I grabed his hand. Naruto i have to tell you something....

Naru: It's ok... i know what you want to say... I feel the same way about you... i always have even though i pretended to hate you.
Sasu:...want to go to my place?
Naeu:Realy?! and you wont chuck me out like last time??

Naru: It's like the Taju-Kagebushin-no-jutsu but i consentrate all the chakra into clone so it doesn't disapear after on hit. It was very hard to master but you know me^^... and as for why... i did it so that you could get the MS... after all these years... i thought you might get upset for killing me... i mean you're my best friend eva... and... i bet you anything i'm yours ... am i right? besides... i couldnt leave you alone on this planet... sure you will always have Sakura- chan and kakashi sensei at your side but... i'm not stupid... i know that i'm the only one who can keep you on the right track...
Sasu:... i moved over so that i was sitting next to him and hugged him... Naruto...
Naru:yeah?
Sasu: dont let me do that again... i felt so...so terible and i felt like i was all alone on this planet... hold me tight amd never let got...ok?

Sasu: lets go to kakashi sensei and sakura...they're probobly woried coz we're taking so long...

and so they left in serch of Kakashi Sensei and Sakura... and if they aren't dead then they are probobly still searching^^

“Here we go now!” Matt said cheerfully as he laid two large plates of BBQ out in front of the couple. The food consisted of huge racks of ribs, huge chicken pieces, pieces of animal Sakura could not decipher, and even more assorted meats. All of this was probably soaked in a special sauce which made it look absolutely delicious!

“Enjoy now!” Matt exclaimed to the two.

The ‘cutie’ held a happy expression on his face, but he definitely didn’t get happy responses back. Sakura stared in awe at him, for his waitress uniform was now covered in blood. The wet clothing now detailed what seemed to be his muscular frame…Sakura could only fantasize even more. At seeing his date go crazy over him like this, Sasuke began to glare at Matt.

The blond haired teen came through the curtain with glasses of water in hand. He took one look at Matt, what with his bloodied uniform, and then screamed loudly. To Matt’s displeasure, the boy then fainted.

“Damn it Brad!” Matt shouted as he went to help his co-worker.

Sakura giggled slightly at the scene, and Sasuke got irritated.

“Let’s eat, please…” He said to her, as he turned his head towards the freshly cooked poultry. Sakura acknowledge him and propped her napkin on her lap.

As they sat there waiting for the nurse to come back they both thought about what had happened in the closet. then at exactly the same time they looked at each other, blushed and lookedaway.

He broke off as the Nurse entered.

Nurse: Well Sasuke it seems you've had a tough day today. The cut isn't as bad as it looks and it's already been disinfected somehow... anyway take this medicine once a day and you'll be okay... Um... did i interupt something? she said as she noticed that they where in a kind of uncomfortable situation.

They both looked up, at eachother then away again saying nothing so the nurse decided to leave having said every thing anyway.
Sakura blushed as she felt Sasuke sliding his hands around her into a tight hug.

Sasuke: Sakkura... in the begining i thought you where like all the other girls who seemd to have to waste their time on me just to get my attention... but ever since we were in team 7 i've noticed that you were different... you didn't like me because of my looks but because of who i am... even Naruto who seems to hate me has risked his life more than once to save me... for me he has become a close friend but you... you Sakura have become more than a friend... in the begining it was because you where in my team i had to like you... i never actualy noticed how strong my feelings for you were untill a moment ago in the closet. Sakura I...

Yet again he had to brake off as they once againg got interupted but this time by Ino, Shikamaru and Naruto. Kakashi Sensei had gone to search for Hinata because Naruto wasn't able to find her.

Ino: Forehead girl! Leave my Sauke alone! She said still anoyed at what had happened and was stuned when Sakura just got up to leave without saying anything.
No..., someone said and they where suprised to see that it was Sasuke.
Ino: What do you mean no! she shouted anoyed at the fact that he wanted her to stay.
Sasuke: She stays, he replied coolly, it's none of your bisness why.

Sakura a bit shocked went bach to her seat next to Sasuke and just stared at the ground.

Ino who was already angery also turned bright red and stormed out of the room followed by Shikamaru who was thinking what a pain it would be to try and calm her down leaving Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto alone in the room.
no one spoke untill...

Naruto: Um... so what did the nurse say? he asked.
Expecting Sakura to answer he looked at her but it was Sasuke that answerd.

Sasuke:...said that I'm suposed to take this medication for a week and i'll be fine...
Naruto: Hey Sasuke! ,he said, thats great! Um... does that mean you can come on our next mission with us?
Sasuke:Yeah...
Naruto: Cool! I'm going to find Kakasi Sensei and tell him so he knows. I'll be back in a sec.

Now this is the moment we've all been waiting for... ready?

Sasuke:Sakura, he said in a low tired voice, i can't hold it any longer...
Sakura: Well don't, she said, go to the toilet it's empty you know and you don't have to ask for permission, then said just a stupid joke as she saw the look on his face. Please go on i wont interrupt.
Sasuke: Sakura I... I love you...

Sakura who had been thinking about this moment nearly all her life didn't react as she thought she would have. She just sat there a tad shocked the words sinking in. Jeez Sasuke I thought I would re-

After what seemd like a life time they broke off both of them in a dream like state.
They where just sitting there when Naruto came pounding in.

Naruto: Hey I'm back! are you both ready to go?

Outside Shikamaru had calmed Ino down when they both heard Sasuke say it.

Sasuke: Naruto i love her...

Ino came running in, I knew it! I knew it! I knew that you've always loved me!
Sasuke: Not you, he said in such a cold voice that Ino burst into tears, Sakura...
Ino: sob... sob... but Sasuke... y... you didn't have t... to say it in such a mean way...
Shikamaru: Ino, it's not the end of the world... there are plenty of good looking guys out there. Let's go home.

Left alone once again they stared at eachother and Naruto said...

Naruto: So... are you gonna get married now? and regretted the comment as he saw the lookes on their faces. Just joking guys! donÄt take it so seriously...

POOF! Kakasi Sensei apeared in the middle of the room.

Naruto: Hey Sensei! guess what Sa- but stopped because Sakura and Sasuke were both staring at him as if to say "if you tell anyone you're dead meat" so he changed it to Sasuke isn't um... aloud to fight to much otherwise the stiches might open.

Kakashi:yesss.... He said as though thousands of miles away, i suppose you're right... he'll just have to watch till he can... come on lets go to Ichiraku.
Naruto: Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! You're the best Kakashi Sensei, and they left.
Kakashi: oh by the way you're paying Naruto.
Naruto:Whaaaaaaat?!?!?

I have a question. If Sakura is suposingly stronger than tsunade or as strong as her like Jaryia said, why is she only a chunin?Shouldn't she be at least a joinin?

well you're right she is at least jonin level but first she hast to pass the exams and i dont think they tested her yet or maybe she didnt pass like naruto he didnt pass the chunin exams and stayed a genin but because he was training with jiraiya the hole time he didnt have to pass the test and automaticaly became a chunin.

Sakura is prolly at the jounin level with her medical strengh (haha pun not intended) but she probably lacks in other areas.

Yeah I keep watching that same fight over and over because of Sakura, and Chiyo. Too bad about Chiyo though. I don't think that she deserved to die even though she gave her life for Gaara, she shouldn't have died. I can't wait to see the shippuden movie, Sakura is going to play the best part in that movie.

I agree about the movie, Sakura will own the screen!

But, as sad as it was for Elder Chiyo to die, it was needed. She sacrificed herself to save Gaara, in essence, she let the past die to save the future. It just proves how great a person she was in life and in death!

I have a new topic, might be off though. Okay, how do you think Sakura has changed in the shippuden? Do you think that she made a huge improvment on her character, or none at all, or a small improvment. I think that she became an even better genius, because when she fought Sasori, she had outsmarted him, alot. Sasori's also a genius like Sakura, but not a better one. Thats the only topic I could think of, or, what do you think Sakura will do in the movie. I don't know, I'm just trying to bring this Fc back up.

I think Sakura has changed in the most important place, her confidence. Before, she kinda got lost in the shuffle, and her entire personality seemed to revolve around the Naruto/Sasuke conflict. Now, she's an independent person who stands for herself and loves herself. She is so powerful now because she truley believes she can be that powerful, or moreso. Even during the Sasori fight, we saw her confidence growing and she became more strong and dangerous as the fight went on. We also saw her lose her fear and just live for the moment, which was something we didn't see before.

Sakura had major improvements. Now she's confident, indepenant, and, well...she actually does some fighting. xD

Yeah, to me Sakura went from the girl on the sideline, to the girl on top of the world. Sakura now has new strengths and weaknesses, like her smartness has improved by a lot, her strength obviously has improved, and she looks a lot prettier. lol Her weaknesses as of now are somthing that we haven't seen change or stay the same, but she can basically outsmart anybody now, but if there stronger than her, she can just outsmart them, not defeat them.sadly.:( I'm too much of a Sakura fan, hopfully she'll comtinue to be strong and I think that she'll get Sasuke in bothe ways she wants him, don't know why I said that, but I just did. And in the movie, Sakura better stand out, because I want her to. lol

Wow, this Fcs is always dead, until someone posts, then its just alive for that day, then its dead again for a week or two then someone will post again. I think that I'll get out of this Fc, only for two reasons. One: I'm in too many Fcs and I need to get out of some so that I can get into so new ones. Two: I love Sakura, but this Fc is usually dead like I stated already.
