"how were they troublesome?" he grinned and two wings unfolded from behind him with a metalic ringing. "you might have learned to put them away for later use."
Daimen closed his eyes, slowly, quietly. It'd been a while since he had fed. Blood ran down his chin and neck. He wiped it off with a rag and limped forward. He looked awfully banged up. Blood remained on his shirt, not the blood of prey, but his own. His left arm hung limply at his side and he hobbled with an injured right knee. A cross dangled from his neck, very strange. IN his panic, he had left them all. He no longer cared of his status or his rank, less so if they killed him for his treason. He already had scars and wounds from the attempts. He hurt, he hurt everywhere. He wanted sweet death to engulf him, but he knew he would be spared that gift and pain granted instead.

"Just peachy." he muttered, thumbing the cross idly. His knee gave out and Daimen was quickly brought to the ground. "Feeding didn't help, huh?" he muttered to himself.

He sat up, dry took the pills and gulped down the blood.

He sunk down his shoulders, "I never wanted to be this." he muttered, "I never wanted to be this." He stood up. His body was numb and so was his brain, "I have to get out of here. I have to find her." His fingers wrapped around the cross tightly.

"I'll be fine." he said. He pulled something from his jacket pocket. A flask. He opened it and relished the smell of whiskey and blood. He took a gulp, screwed the cap back on and slipped the flask back in his pocket.

He scanned the page quickly and froze. A name jumped up at him, Aleria. He swallowed and began to read in earnest. 'Aleria waited quietly for the arrival of her-' He slammed the book closed, rage flowing through him. Only one person knew this tale and knew this language and he was dead. Daimen left unable to exact revenge for publicizing the story he had dreaded since it unfolded as his very own life.

He felt his body longing for a cigarette. He pulled out a pack and drew out a smoke and brought it to his lips. He patted himself down in a search for his lighter.

He took the book back " Alright, cant wait to see the ending though, the story is very ionteresting right now, love found, love lost, betrayl, friendship, death" he hugged the book " Ah, a very good read" he said " oh here" he snapped his fingers and the cigarette end light
He drew in a long, deep breath and let the feeling of an addiction at bay spread as he blew out smoke, "Thanks."

"Sure, sounds damn good." Daimen said. He answered the smile with a real one. He stood up with some trouble and hobbled to meet him at the doorway, "Lets go."

Daimen struggled to get up, pain shooting in his leg and arm, "Zeith." He spat, he yelled something out in a strange tounge.
"Its not polite to leave someone out of a conversation." Zeith said with a chuckle, "Besides, its not like you've never betrayed anyone before."
"Hold your tounge!" Daimen yelled.
"Aleira was so heartbroken, I just had to help her. Even now, she still whines over you."
"Now...?" Daimen's thought process sped up, "You didn't, YOU DIDN'T."
"Turn her? Oh yes, I did." He smiled.
Daimen tried to run forward, but his leg gave out on him and sent him tumbling forward.

Daimen's breath went irregular. He obvious wounds began to sizzle, healing. "I'll kill you for touching her, for tainting her." The cross around his neck began to burn his skin.
Zeith chuckled, "You've pissed him off."

His wounds were closed now, impossible for someone like him. "This is where I end you." He went to crush the other man's skull, but a voice stopped him.

He was frozen, wide-eyed and unable to speak. His eyes began to water.

The man began to laugh , he then stabbed him in the chest with a cross sharpened to a point, "best not to lose focus" he then slammed his foot into his face
He coughed and blood spilled past his lips, "Aliera, Aliera." He repeated over and over again. Each time the word came out, it was softer. "I thought you were dead. All this time to long for death and now, when I find out you're here, I am granted it?" He felt the wound close, "No, not time yet." He grabbed the other man's leg and shattered the bone in his hand.

"GAH" the man jumped back his leg tearing off and the blood spilling onto daimens hand, "You," he caught himself and laughed " Its seems i fogot to coat the blade" he said "how foolish" he took out two large bayonets, "I wont make the same mistake twice" he coated one and slashed at daimen, and he used the other as a makeshift leg, "Dont forget, our blood is toxic to each other" he laughed swingling madly
Daimen dodged them with a deadly ease, "Do you know who I am?" He asked, his voice dangerously even.

The blade plowed into his skin as he yelled out in pain. He then began to hyperventilate. "I will dance on your grave."

He jumped up and over the man and ran forward. Aliera stood there, eyes cast down. He stopped in front of her and started to say something, but the affect of the poison was already working into his system. He gripped her shoulders for support.

"I SAID DONT LOSE FOCUS" he shouted in a mocking tone as he stabbed him through the gut, stabbing Aliera aswell
Aliera dissolved and Daimen fell to the ground, "An illusion?" He couldn't stop himself from letting a few tears fall. He hacked up blood and looked toward a broadly smiling Zeith.
"You know I can't die, so you're torturing me?!" He screamed.

Daimen chuckled, "If it was that easy, I'd be dead already." He stood up shakily and spat, "Your blood isn't as potent as others."

He couldn't control himself as he lunged for the man.

"A-Aliera." He said softly, "I- I"
She smiled, "I know."
He closed his eyes and the air around him distorted.

He lifted her up and walked back to the house the man had taken him to. He was right in assuming he wouldn't be there. He set her down and sighed, "My son never made it?"
She shook her head, "They killed him."
He wore the most defeated look, "I see."

Daimen sighed to himself, he was almost completely drained, physically and emotionally. I couldn't rest though, he had to tend after Aleira's wounds and make sure no one came after him. The lying bastard had told him there was a barrier, but that information could no longer be trusted.

ic: A man in regular cloth walked around, he had a frightened look on his face, he was in a vampire neighborhood, but he was a simple human, "Holy fuck, i need to get out of here" he said, he saw the house daimen was in, he didnt see any lights, so he decided to walk in, he closed the door and sat in a chair, trying hard to relaxe
"Human." Aleria whispered.
"Are you sure?" Daimen said, keeping his voice down. He saw her nod, "Okay, I'll check it out."
He stood and crept around.

"You should be up." he said with concerned anger. He got up and made her rest against him, "Come, rest. This is my woman." he said.

He placed a finger on his temple and sighed "Fine, i give, call her that if you will, but keep in mind, if you EVER, mistreat her because she is a women and I find out, I will run as many fucking crosses into your bloody heart as i can find" he said, he then bowed to her " Its a pleasure to make your aquantince" he said smileing
Aleira smiled and gave a shallow laugh, being careful not to hurt herself. Daimen watch with obvious worry.
