i was wondering which is the bankai u liked most??

i believe it is ichigo's then then ikkaku's

there are to many threads like this already but just for the heck of it i'd say Ikkaku has a pretty sweet Bankai.

Renjis bankai is bad ass its the best one i seen its a freaking 200 foot snake how cool is that.

byakuya's bankai is the only bankai that we have seen go to its full power yet, so im going with byakuya.

Let me go over the bankai's really quickly

1. The firsts is obviously the most powerful. It's an ancient flame zanpaktuo. The bankai is actually and area of effect.

2. although i think byakuya has to be the coolest character in the entire series, his bankai isn't as powerful as the first. it's not an area of effect, it's a wedge directed bankai. he has to direct it for it to go and it attacks a spot or blocks a spot. him vs the first, the first would win easily. you'd have toasty byakuya in minutes.

3. the kid captain could give the first a run for his money, but again his isn't an aoe [area of effect]. he creates a tremendous amount of water, but like byakuya he directs it in the form of a dragon.

4. the black guy's bankai i think has to be 2nd place. it robs you of sight, sound, and taste. Kenpachi took 5 direct sword hits to get him to come out of his bankai. not too many people would take 5 direct sword hits, 1 should suffice anyway. and it's an aoe. however the first is an aoe that does damage to you. the black guy himself has to do the damage.

5. baldy has a very nice bankai, where it grows in power as he weilds it. it has to be one of the strongest bankais, but it's very slow. i bet he could beat kenpachi if he put his mind to it.

6. renji's bankai is just as advantageous as byakuya. when speaking of early warfare, the guy that had the longest range won. hands down. archers = death back in those days. and a daikatana could kill whole squads of people. so a guy with a extend-o-matic bankai would literally make you poop your pants. and it's just that much better than ichimaru gin's shikai in that his bankai can be directed around corners, how horrible is that for you, being chased down around a corner.

7. uh mr. lunatic science captain... his bankai isn't so much strong or advantageous, as it is a complete trump card. in fact his shikai is also a trump card. So if he's in trouble and feels he is not going to win, he goes bankai and you virtually die no matter what you do to him. but he doesn't necessarily win. you are going to be poisoned no matter what bankai you use against him. he might die, but you're trumped anyway. [i used to do live action role playing, and i always made my characters have trump type powers, i was never the strongest, but i could take anyone out that came up against me] if this is your idea of strength then this guy is it. even the first would die to this guy.

8. oh the big fox captain. his bankai is more scarey than effective. he creates a massive gigantor samurai that fights you as he direct it. if you have shinpo he's toast.

9. oh yeah ichigo hahaha almost forgot. um he has an advanced shinpo bankai? I mean don't get me wrong, a guy that can traverse a football field in one step is most effective, but if you're a decent fighter he doesn't have an advantage. his bankai therefore isn't that great ... IT'S THAT OTHER STUFF he does that's great, like the black and white chi releases. shinpo + release = deadly character. What sucks is the level of characters he fighting all have the same speed if not better. hell byakuya wore him down to a crawl and would have killed him had it not been for all pastey ichigo comeing out of the closet.

I agree with everything else that you stated, but this quote is off. First, we haven't seen captain-commander's Bankai. The flame effect that he used against those two captains was the power of his Shikai. We haven't seen all of the captains Bankai and to say that the captain-commander's the strongest would be true... But is it the best overall in certain situations? We don't know at this point.

Well, the best so far is Byakuya's Bankai.

But didn't we see mayuris ugly catipillar bankai?But i have to choose byakuyas bankai.

Wait till we see aizen's bankai or gin's or tousen's ichigo's is crappy first off it looks like a normal sword and all it does is getsuka tenshaw WOW nothing special interms of cool ikkaku's is for now in terms of power it is kisuke and ichigo for NOW captain commander and aizen have the most strongest bankai's hell their shikai is better than most bankai's.

Im impressed the most with Mayuri's Bankai, Konjiki Ashisogi Jizou, Its a powerful Bankai and the effects are devastating. The poison gas and the paralysis are really strong and are able to inflict almost anyone. Im probably the least impressed with Ichigo's but its not surprising since hes not really a full Shinigami. Its surprising enough that he has actually obtained Bankai.

the best bankai is probaly........the captain comanders cuz his shikai was as distructive as a few captains bankai combined

ikkaku's bankai is so huge...

Captain Ukitake's shikai, though not a bankai, its still very powerful to rival a bankai. Its called the Sogyo no Kotowari, its splits into two swords and its a pair to Shunsui Kyoraku's Katen Kyokotsu another two sworded shikai.

Bankai wise I'd have to go with Hitsugaya Toshiro Daiguren Hyorinmaru. Greatest looking bankai due to his dragon handling l33tness.

Ichigo did a shikai when he trained with Urahara to regain his Shinigami powers. Its hard to decide my favorit bankai is but Ichigo's is on the top of the list.:)

Hitsugaya's Hyorinmaru is the best to me, but for some reason, they never show it with good animations. The only time they did, was when he first revealed it, and in the movie (i saw a preview odf the 2nd movie, and it looks good in there to).

After that, i guess it would be Byakuya's and Ichigo's.:cool:

I'd say Ikkaku has the best 'Bankai' so far.

Renji's Baboon Snake has been used too much, as well as the Capt. Hitso 'Ice Dragon', they have worn they're Bankai as well as Ichigo's way too much. They are both awesome, but used up.

Also with Byukauya his is awesome, and even better he controls it mentally, and when he uses his hands its even faster. It should've been another color besides pink though I do understand the cherry blossom thing. And I hope he adds to it because its not weak, but its be de fanged by both Ichigo, and also Kariaya.

Kenpachi, even though he dosen't have a specific Bankai dosen't get his just due. He's the Incredible Hulk of the Soul Society, and I would have loved him to join Ichigo, Renji, Chad, in they're assault of the Arrancar. He dosen't get the credit he deserves, he's probably one of the best Captains to work for. Thats why Ikkaku keeps his Bankai hidden, he wants to die under Kenpachi's command.

Ichigo's is sickly awesome..it's so bad-ass...hmm...Toshirou's is pretty cool...hmm...oh, and Byakuya's.

For all of you guys who say Ichigo's bankai is boring you need to remember that hollow Ichigo used all kinds of things Ichigo hasn't even come close to yet, i think there is ALOT more to Ichigo's bankai than we have seen. Same with Rengi's they are both very new to bankai and have not trained to perfect and use all of the abilities in their Zanpakto.

In fact I think that although the Bankai we have seen are also cool I still don't think we have seen everything they can do. Because if so then a lot of the captains are screwed against the Arrancar because if they beat Ichigo and he beat them then what can they do? It would only make sense for there to be more.

i personally like ikkaku's bankai. honestly every bankai kinda sucks. nothing really blows my mind when i saw the bankai's that are out. by use of effectiveness, ikkaku seems to be the most effective and most benificial when it comes to battle that suits his specialty. brute force. toshirou's looks cool but nothing that great. everyone elses blows.

I have to say, Ikkaku bankai is the coolest so far. the triple axe blade when he is fighting its charging up, to release more of its power. Ichigo's bankai is still new, and Zangetsu hasn't fully trust him with the power, plus Ichigo learning how to use the Hollow, the bankai form would be even greater and powerful.

Ichigo would had train more with Shinji if Inoue hadn't been kidnap.

Hitsugaya bankai is cool, but it's not my favorite.
Renji's bankai is cool, but its a long-range weapon mostly.
Byakuya does make him seem gay, but thousand small blade does clitical damage to a person and hollows; Arrancar. But he's Senbonzakura Shuukei Hakuteiken or :D the white imperial sword, looks cool. Almost look like Hitsugaya dragon when he gets his ice wings.

The bankai I want to see the most is Urahara Benihime - the crimson princess and would like to see her materalizing into her true form. It would be funny, she would be like Zangetsu; dark and depressing.. lol

Madarame Ikkaku's is nice, too. I like the part wherein he still has to wake it up. I hope we see more of it in the future...
