2 maverick - www.gimp.org is the G.I.M.P website and its a free download plus the download is only about 40megs last time i checked, dunno if a new version is out by now. even if u cant make a website, its still all good, this is mainly a learning club, not a competiting club :P

@nr17 kool ur in :P, il put ur name up on the webmaster section onthe intro banner since ur a webmaster etc... yup im not teaching as yet, im letting them design their own site, then i'd show them step by step how to code it, pretty simple work, im in the making of an HTML and CSS tut to post in a while, and the templ8 isnt ripped :P, i coded it mehself, but i really doubt anyone will really use it cuz they're more interested in learning to design than to start their own site as yet...

@ sn162 - the words "no rip" etc.. are put onthe image/psd, not the coded site, you can prevent saving the site [aka ripping] through javascript [disable right-click etc...]

i also gotta add, we should not allow the use of web creating programs such as whatcha ma call it, dreamweaver.

dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG editor, much easier for beginners, no need to push them into the coding straight on, thats not how i learned :P, i learned the basics, then i messed arund with the WYSIWYG editor and looked at the coding and figured everything out, but thats just me, dreamweaver has a "coder" and "designer mode" so u can switch between WYSIWYG and hand coding instantly or u can have both windows open at the same time "hybrid mode", thats why DW is the best prog out, i'd recommend it plus its a free download, but no offence to the notepad users, notepad is for ppl that completely know what they are doing, not beginners

If your going to do work, do the work. Dont half ass it. No one cares how long it took, the second sig in my sig took me 30 minutes. But who cares, if it turned out like crap then id be my fault. Not times. So if your going to speed through something its your fault not time's, you chose not to put a long time into it.

I... I love you. XD I hate hate hate when people blindly go 'ZOMG IT LOOKIE KWEL!'. I know it looks neat, but I want CnC from a design perspective and you alway gives it too me. OKay, and now to address your CnC, lol

My grudge brushes are like my best friend at this point. XD They are key to my style. I'm working on d/l new brush sets, but I find it hard to used them in anything other than certain situations (like my Hiro sig, I used a crystal brush and a filler). I was trying to make it look like the render was popping out of the BG like a person gets out of water. There was a great deal of depth in it, but my mom wanted scanlines and it zapped it away with the uniformity of the lines. I really, really hate scanlines alot. D= What's a 'fill layer'? <.< Like a layer just filled with color of some mystically PS thing?

@kina - honestly, i dont know myself what a fill layer is but i've been using it for months so i have a good idea what it may be, it just an extra layer u add that "fills" by adding a predefined pattern, brush etc... those diagonal lines u added, the layer itself, is called a fill layer. PS does it werrrrryy easy.
@maverick - yuh i love those brushes

1st: 7/10 Looks weird to me me but great blending
2nd: 8.5/10 Its just wow but now its beginning to look the same as the rest
3rd:8/10 Its good but it the way you touched up the render doesnt look good with the BG
(These are my opinions so dont make fun of me LOL)
