Lisa is probably stronger then Sunshi now, all of the current captains will be like WOWOWOWOWW, and the espada will be like FINALLY A CHALLENGE.

Gin is a homicidal maniac, he's more kill happy than Aizen. Gin is Aizen's pitbull, whom he barely controls.

I feel like there is practically just as much mystery about Gin as there is about Urahara. I don't think he's powerful enough to double cross Aizen though. I don't know if I even see that happening.

Barragan says those are the ten major themes of death in humans, and those themes have been given to each of the Espada to govern over.

As for Barragan's theme of death, he states that it is the most powerful one that nothing can overcome, which is "time". Thus it ties in with his "aging" theme.

Also, his Zanpakutou's name is Arrogante - Spanish for arrogant.

(Apparently, he could age people up really fast, which is why Soifon seems to be screwed since she relies on her mobility in battles.)

So I was wondering if Soi Fon would have been using her shunko by now. I wanted to guess that even if she didn't have it engaged at the very beginning, by now she would have started using it seeing as she's getting her ass handed to her on a silver platter by Barragan.

However, according to what Yoruichi said http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/158/16/ the clothing on her back and shoulders would have been blown off had she been using it already.

So if Soi Fon is indeed not using shunko yet, it would probably be a good idea for her to get on that. That way Barragan can show the difference in their power when he continues to punish her even as she is giving it everything she's got.

I think she is just referring to the fact that their power limit isn't in effect so in essence all the Captains present are at full strength, not necessarily that she is at her limit.

I fully expect we see her release... and get swatted down like the annoying little bee she is. I sincerely hope she is the first "good guy" death since apparenly squirts still kicking. Her fat lieutenant should follow her to the grave shortly after.

Soifon always struck me as an analytical character in the series, considering she developed Shunko and taught it to herself (ok Yoruichi technically created it but this was secret and Soifon created her own version because she had no knowledge of it from her former mentor) in a similar manner Yoruichi did!!

I think she's analyzing Barragan or now because it was state that only Kenpachi out of the captains didn't know bankai right?? Plus she took that hit from that Fraccion - she may not have thought him a big enough threat to truly analyze an Espada's powers!!

Kubo hasn't killed a single good guy so far, but it would definitely do his manga justice if some "good" characters started dying. Soooooooo, in your opinion:

Here is my list:
1) Soi Food
2) Lieutenant Fatass Bitch Tits
3) Chad - he isn't even in this battle, yet I think he should die.
4) Squirt, unless he says that he's grown and managed to tap his hidden potential - actually, I would really, really like that.
5) Yama-jii - that would make the series go nuts. (However, it would only be acceptable if he died to a hollowfied Aizen, and even then Aizen would have had to employ an incredibly dirty trick)
6) Tousen - even though he isn't a good guy, he is a moron.
7) Komamura
8) Tetsuzaemon Iba - His sword looks so moronic.
9) Chōjirō Sasakibe - Useless, I bet most people don't even know who this is.

I wouldn't mind if Squirt lived, but he would have to be saved by someone else. Even if he were to discover some untapped potential, I still would rather him be saved by someone else. He is waaaaaay not powerful enough to do this on his own. And I do think it would be a devastating blow to SS if Yama died, and it would make the manga much, much more interesting. It might be better though if he dies after this arc is over, when Aizen penetrates the royal kingdom.

Also, in addition to who SHOULD die, who do you think is ACTUALLY going to die?

Soi Fong won't die unfortunately, but she will break out a bankai, its the same as Yoruichi's, her vice capt. may die he's only around for comedy. How IceBoy survived is he used an Ice Shadow clone that bleeds, lmao. It is a good question as to who good dies because if all of the Espada and Aizen are dispactched of isnt' the spirit world 'out of balance' no super evil forces available but lowly hollow would destroy the pool of future battles. Unless all uber villains will be ex-soul society members which comes off as wack. May as well have all captains fight to the death and the last one standing defend everything.

We can always hope she bleeds to death. Better yet let her lose her other arm as well. Even one armed she could still be impressive as we see with the fireworks chick. (Sorry can't remember her name) So we need her to lose the other arm or her legs. If she doesn't die she at least needs to completely lose the ability to fight.

Hits used to be one of my favorite characters but now he has become annoying. A little hax every now and again is okay but the ice bunshin was too much. It will be nice to see him get all cocky with Halibel then have her smack him down with his own ice.

Where are you getting your information from? Soi Fon is a captain of the goten 13. All captains are capable of Bankai besides Kenpachi. Soi Fon's Shikai is called "Jinteki Shakusetsu" which is a small stinger like blade that goes on her finger. It's a two hit kill that marks the victim with a butterfly tat.

I predict that this battle will stop before the death of all Espada, wouldn't that unbalance the system? Even all Bounto didn't die, this is beginning of extinction for espada, whom or what replaces them?

Well, when limiters are on lieutinants and captains theyre powers only 1/5 of what they can really do. And the moment the limiters came off of hitsugya he wiped the fraccion out. However, I dont know how hitsugya is supposed to stand up to the #3 espada.

It wasn't even a gillian class menos that he had to have his limiter taken off against, it was a bloody Adjuchas-class menos that had been turned into an Arrancar!! Two completely different things so it was little wonder he had to have his limiter removed, being only at a fifth of his true strength and even then, he still wasn't defeated or killed in battle!!

Im confused about the ranking ever since Yammy is 0, halibell is 3 and ulqs is 4 yet Ulqs has shown to be far more deadly of an espada then the other two. IMO, the rankings are based on brute power probably "who has the most". But having more power doesnt mean a 4 couldnt beat 0 in a fight. Power is just one advantage of many and it can be countered by other abilites like speed, stamina and strategy "wearing down then overwhelming".

Hopefully kubo will explain soon because this is confusing.

chapter 360 ends with soifons final blow "porbably" defeating barrangan

anything else makes no sense too me. soifon & hits defeating harribel & barragan is ridiculous

Any move, any move at all which gets stronger overtime would instantly kill Barragan.

Man you guys are harsh on Bleach, holy crap. Soi Fon's bankai makes some sense, I mean, her Shikai is very stealthy, but when you use your banki it's typically a 1 on 1, to the death battle where every once of power is needed. Since she has speed, giving her long-range firepower makes her versatile as hell.

I'm quite surprised by Stark's release (I thought it could've looked a little better). Antonio Bandaras w/guns + Wedding Singer = :confused::confused: (Kubo, what have you done?). The only thing fans have to look forward to this fight is Shunsui's and Ukitake's bankai. Out of all of the Espada release forms, Barragan, Halibel, Ulquiorra (both), and Nnoitra's look the best. you're right. i would probably more likely go with the idea that he used his shikai's effect, simply because in the current situation they haven't used vice captains to replace captains, then again bleach doesn't always follow form as it develops.

Based on what Old Man Yama said, Shunsui and Ukitake are the two most powerful captains under him. However, the database reveals Unohana's overall skill chart to be higher than both Shunsui and Ukitake.

Still, I can't wait to see Shunsui's Bankai. Its the first time we get to see a Bankai from a venerable shinigami. Its going to be amazing. I've never been this excited for bleach. I'm not shocked, since Stark merged with his opponent, what else could he do but help when Kouyraku got in trouble. I'd imagine they work well together also, they're usually together in the manga, or animie so Stark just may be in trouble if all he does is shoot ceros. From his reaction of shock over Hits move, the top 3 espada may be in trouble. Hmmmm, I wouldn't put Ukitake and Kyoraku down as "mid-level" Captains, that would be left to Soifon and Komamura and the likes!! I really only see two tiers in terms of Captain Levels...

Well I mean look at it, Kubo had built the two of them up to be amazing Sword Masters, he had to give Stark something that would be realistic in being able to defeat one of the top Captains, thus as fast as a gun or faster!!

Well, I put ukitake and kyuraku in the middle Level because the two of them had to fight together against Yamamoto to keep from dying. That and i put yamamoto as a high level captain so those two should be middle level if yamamotos a high level.

Obviously you are free to rank people however you like, and you do acknowledge the relative differences between them and Yamamoto. However, I think it is better to consider Yama-jii in more of a level of his own and then to consider Kyuraku and Ukitake to be high-level captains. As I see it you have them has high level captains, someone like Byakuya as a mid-level and that stupid Soi-Fon bitch to be on the lower level. That's at least how I see it.

Although I do realize that difference in abilities/attacking styles would perhaps allow some captains that I would normally rank on the lower level to beat captains on a higher level. For instance, I would tend to group Mayuri as a lower-level captain; however, he probably has some scientific strategy/handicap on every other captain that would allow him to gain the upper hand in a fight. Although he is a difficult case, because that might lean me more towards giving him more of a medium ranking. The death gas of his bankai and his shikai's paralyzing ability, especially with the way he utilizes his 2nd in command do make him quite formidable.

Myth, I hope that post wasn't addressed to me as I completely agree with you and was merely establishing a ranking hierarchy, which has nothing to do with the Espada fights.

Ridiculous as Bleach is, it would really destabilize all relative concepts of canon strength feats up to this point in time if Soi Food and Squirt win their respective battles. Actually, they shouldn't even make it out alive unless someone else **cough vizard cough** steps in to help them. I have more of a mixed opinion about the Stark battle. Stark should probably win too; however, my personal preference would be for Ukitake and Kyōraku to win after a very, very tough battle in which they are absolutely pushed to the edge.

Honestly though, that's really not acceptable, because if they can beat the #1 Espada, then what the fuck are the vizard good for in the first place?

I so called Stark having a trigger happy cero ability in the chapter 361 discussions. So, it seems Ukitake and Shunsui are about to team battle. They are indeed the best duo ever. I'm shocked that Kubo didn't have Shunsui release his Bankai, now Shunsui is made to look like he can't handle things alone. Then again, this is Stark, so I guess its called for.

That's why I'm shocked that the squirt and Soi Fon didn't get any aid yet. They are drastically over due for it.

Although, Shunsui apparently obtained aid, that does not place either Shunsui or Ukitake as mid-level captains. Based on what Old man yama said, those two are the most gifted among the current and passed captains (with the exception of Aizen most def). Kubo most likely want us to picture the sheer strength of stark, if he's able to pin down one of the top 4 captains of all time.

NO ESPADA EVER LOST IN THEIR FIRST FIGHT THEY FIGHT TWICE BEFORE THEY DIE.. at least if they're important to the story line that is.. fodder espada like 9,8,7, died cause they serve no purpose.

I agree with the majority of what u wrote cept i doubt stark used his actual speed... my reason for this is that when stark snatched Inoue he seemed to disappear as iff he used a teleportation technique why else would zaraki say "he's gone" shuunpo or sonido doesn't give u the ability to move so fast that u completely disappear.

Also stark was toying with sunshi yet was still able to cut him a tad bit meaning at that point he turned up the heat a bit, nd in this chapter stark is to fast for sunshi all together.

There's a reason why Ukitake and Kyoraku are next in line to occupy the position of Captain-Commander if said position were to ever become vacant. I for one highly doubt they're losing this fight, even if they are going against the Primera.

I even doubt the Espada are Aizen's most powerful weapon to begin with. Why? Simply because of the fact that none of the Espada have shown signs of being Vasto Lorde. Only one that might is Ulquiorra, due to the fact he has two releases and even then I doubt it.

My theory is that there's another group comprised solely of VL ranked Arrancar with a different name than the Espada (which in Spanish means sword).

All in all, I don't think the Espada are the top fighters, so them losing wouldn't exactly surprise me.

Also, regarding Harribel and Barragan, I doubt they're dead either. I can still see them winning due to the fact that neither Hitsugaya or Soi Fon aren't exactly top captains and are relatively inexperienced compared to the others. Hitsugaya and Soi Fon may lose, but I doubt that will be the case with Ukitake and Kyoraku.

Yes, you are wrong, the Espada are the top 10 Arrancar, an arrancar is a hollow with a broken mask.

A vasto lord is the strongest form among Menos (Vasto>Adjuchas>Gillian), they can be Vasto lord and still not arrancar.

Read the manga........ So far, we haven't see any Vasto Lord, Espada 9 was the only Gillian among the Espada and we still don't know anything about # 1, 2, 3 and 4, they could be Adjuchas too.

Anyway, there's no reason to think too much about it, with Kubo doing his best to fuck up the manga and come un with the worst ideas, this manga doesn't worth it anymore.

The only thing that i rememeber about vasto lordes that they look almost like humans(espada look like humans), and I remember someone saying if there is more then 10 of them SS is done. And the next page shows that there are more then 10 of them.

Tho I know it doesn't say that espada is vasto lordes, but why would he show us las noches just after Hitsugaya's words and the words tell us that there are 20 of them. Maybe he wanted to confuse us(he likes doing it, or i dunno)

I kind of like Ukitake's Shikai release. I wonder if it could even parry Old Man Yama's flame blast. I bet it can, but he's to fast to be caught in it, but regardless, Ukitake has an interesting kind of Shikai in my opinion.

the spoilers are out like i siad i was right all the espada are unscathed not halibel or barragan even got a scratch.. wonderwiess seems to be one aizens strongest arracnar. i think he slices through ukitake nd sunshi get clobbered by stark, in the end aizen makes it out and the vizards show up saying "long time no see aizen".

So finally we get to see a real battle vizards vs the espada and wonderweiss along with aizen gin and tousen, while the other losers can sit this out.

All of them most likely have Bankai since they are all comprised of captains and vice-captains, who have had years to master it.

When they get there they will kick so much ass; the only fight I'm pretty sure of is Kensei vs. Tosen.

U right the vizard should fail as well, the top 4 3 or w/e will all die during the final and last arc stark will go out the best way from all of them... aizen will fight ichigo... Technically speaking aizen cannot be touched by anyone AIZEN>all his ability is crazy his shikai alone> any bankai but we know with shonen some random crap outta the ass plot must be used...

So the band of vizards finally got their ass here. But this is going to turn into a bloodbath. Shunsui and Ukitake got downed. Man. Oh well, this is going to be sweet. Well if Shinji has Bankai (Which is definite considering that he was a captain) than it means he held back a lot. The Vizards tend not to rely on their shinigami powers, but if they did, I'm sure they would be a hell of a lot more powerful. What we saw from Shinji was just an ounce of what he's probably truly capable of.

Well they will also have to deal with the top three Espada along with that Wonderwiess and the huge monster thing that appeared with him and Tousen and Gin. I think the Vizards are sweet an all, but hey.

An I never really came to the conclusion that the Vizards would directly attack Soul Society. True, they probably don't hold the best feelings for them, but it wasn't technically the shinigami that caused them their misfortune. It was Aizen fault really and the Court Guard who couldn't think for themselves.

Urahara was also thrown out, but he remained on good terms with Yama and held the best interest for the soul society. The Vizards probably aren't interested in Soul Society in the least, but both groups have a single goal in mind, Aizen's demise. And I'd doubt they'd downplay their help over a huge misunderstanding that occurred previously. If they're useful, then they'd make use of them. If they're not, they'll be left aside. I only see Yama coming in and doing something really, unless someone goes on a heals the two recently fallen Captains.

Then again, I'm still waiting for Ishin and Urahara to step in and finally show what they are made of.
But that's just how I see it in opinion.
