I think it is seeing as how it takes a lot of training to aquire some of the things they can do.

No they don't take steroids. WWE have a wellness program now, they've suspended 10 wrestlers 2 of which include champions and 2 which include main storyliners. So you can't say they take steroids. Why are their wrestlers with smalle builds then?

they most likely suspened them casue of the benoit crap but still that just proves they are juiced up and its all fake shit nothing there is real.

yes it is considered a sport because u are being physically active........if golf is considered a sport then so is wrestling........wrestling actually takes lots of training......

just because not all of it is real doesnt mean it is not physically demanding....it takes everything out of u.....and u cant fake everything.......u jump off a ladder and see if it doesnt hurt......u slam someone down and see if it doesnt hurt........even if u cant respect the sport u have to respect the wrestlers........it is and always will be a sport

Wrestling has always had storylines. They saw him as a good way of pushing themselves so what. He would probably kill half the people in UFC. Through your arguement I can say UFC isn't a real sport either. UFC does not disallow drug abuse, so whos shit is fake now. Their sport is just all out street fighting and using strength they got from drug abuse. Don't belittle WWE because you don't like it and then use drug abuse as a reason. That is no reason to say wrestling isn't a sport.

wrestling is a sport but only in the amateur league is considered a sport any thing that goes pro in wrestling is not considered by the olympics as a sport. But every thing they do on WWE is really hard and dangersous for any one to belittle and call fake when those guys are jumping of the stage and crushing one another.

I dont actually care whether it is considered entertainment/sport or both for that matter. WWE totally fails now and have lost complete interest in it. It got completely destroyed when they changed to wwe, seperated the brands and all the headlining wrestlers left for movies and other shit. After 2002 it started to suck really hard and continues to do so. RIP WWF.

If anyone does want to talk about wrestling experience and the toughness of it i suggest talking to pride.

It is def a sport, you have to be trained and fit to do a lot of the stunts they do and to keep up pace as you are being very active at a high pace for awhile, not all of them use steriods so people who say that just look retarded.

yes it is a sport, because it requires the wrestler's body physically fit to do all those stunts.

Mmm, if this were a few years ago, I'd have said that the WWE was a sport. Actually, if it had been when I was a kid, not a few years ago lol. No, it's, as Vince puts it, Sports Entertainment. Not entirely a sport, mainly because of the ridiculous storylines and fake bumps. I guess the Sports aspect would be the actual bumps taken by the athletes/actors. Wrestling is probably the most body taxing sport in the world. It takes an insane amount of stamina, endurance, and focus. So many older wrestlers have a huge list of things wrong with their bodies, and they put themselves through this stuff to entertain millions of people. I respect what they do.

Tsukuyomi - Mick Foley is a legend, i don't give a shit what anyone says, the amount of times he put his body through tremendous amount of pain is just amazing. He was a great wrestler in the WWF days. Yes the storyline is a load of rubbish now but there is nothing you can do about it.
