Nah probably not. Remember in ep 101, he took off his mask for a split second to eat the ramen, the ramen owners were like, red faced and smiling. Like, *ooh, how cute* kind of look. xD

I have a picture of him without his mask and he just looks regular, but the girl that I got it from said that he was hot, to her. I read an unpublished chapter from Masashi Kishimoto... Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke are trying to see Kakashi's face by inviting him to eat ramen... But Ino arrive and hide Kakashi while he's eating. So Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke didn't see anything... But after we can see a woman and the cook, in front of Kakashi, who both fall in love... lol it's so funny ^^ So I suppose that Kakashi hide his face because he's too much beautifull LOL

kakashi is actually really handsome, like you can see in the Konoha extra that was posted earlier and in ep 101 of Naruto, he girl from ichiraku Ramen from who I forgot the name for a moment, and even the guy, totally fall for him...
Why he hides his face could be for several reasons:
1- He's so handsome that he's afraid that every girl in town will follow him
2- He doesn't want to be reminded to his roots, his father was the White Fang and he was at first pretty well known, but we all know how he ended, well, if you've read the manga that is, he doesn't want to be reminded to the shame that was dome to his family and he doesn't want to be recognized as the son of the White Fang, still, the hair and the strange chakra give it away, but at first he wouldn't be recognized as the son...

Well, that's just my opinion tho LOL

Dude is a TRUE ninja. and you dont need to know what a ninja's face looks like. thats why, and plus the white fang thing maybe. But i think people make way to much out of why he keeps his face covered. If they ever show why and whats under his mask, you'll see it was never that serious.

I think its so that his enemies don't know who he is - after all he has lost most of the people precious to him, I recently re-read the manga special about his life, and damn if that wasn't depressing.

It's hard to NOT recognize Kakashi. The legendary copy cat ninja. It seems that everyone he runs into knows exactly who he is. So that doesn't help much.

I think his face is normal underneath his mask. So I really can't see why he would wear it exept for the 2nd reason that Subrosa gave, that sounds pretty logical I'll go with that.I can't think of any other one and subrosa's 2nd reason had crossed my mind a couple of times while I was debating that.

you guys all know that kakashi's scar came from a war he lost his left eye, during the war though his friend died, and he was one of the uchiha. so his friends dying wish was to take his left eye, and reluctantley *shudders* kakashi removed his eye and placed it within his own socket, using its chakra the sharinagan eye attached the nerves, and so kakashi got the mirror eye :D

It could even be to hide his identity. There is nothing actually to it. He does have a bottom jaw, he is not using a genjutsu to make himself pretty. (That seems like what Naruto would do with Sexy jutsu).

Kakashi is pretty covered. He got a mask, and his left eye(sharingan) is covered. When he reveal his eye, he can use sharingan, which make him more powerful. If he remove his mask, I think he may become even more powerful!! :D :D :D

Kakashi's father suicided and since Kakashi PROBABLY looks a lot like his father maybe he didn't want to see his father's image whenever he looked at his reflection. Or it's cause taking it off would make him have fangirls like Sasuke.

Well, the reason that Sakumo (Kakashi's dad) commited suicide is because he abandoned the mission, in order to save his friends. Everyone got pissed at him for not following orders, so he killed himself. It was then that Kakashi started to do EVERYTHING according to the rules. But that ended during Kakashi Gaiden, and that's when he started believing about that "those who don't follow the rules are scum, but thos who ditch their friends are even worse than scum" saying.
But since he now believes in what his father believes in, why wouldn't he want to show his face now?

i remember watching naruto episode/ova i just cant remember..where there where time naruto sasuke and sakura was wondering..how kakashi looks like..so they made up a plan...they want to treat kakashi sensei a ramen..they buying..so when kakashi want to eat it..he has to open his mask..but as kakashi open his mask..naruto sasuke and sakura sight was block by somebody..by the time they sigth was unblocked..kakashi sensei already finish his ramen.so they really frustrated...but the ramen owner whiich is a couple saw kakashi face...and they talk about it..and said that kakashi was a good looking..making naruto sasuke and sakura more determined to see kakashi sensei face..finally you had to watch it your self...its really funny..the point is that kakashi is really good looking..and becoz he is a ninja..he had a reason to hide his face.
