really good game, and the multiplayer is awesome. I also liked the co-op mode alot, more games should have that type of mode.

Yeah, the new games i see now are pretty crappy. Hope there are some new games out there like that.

I also love the legendary mode on halo 2 ^.^

It's one of the best games I've ever played, I'll say that.

Legendary of Both Halos is freaking hard! I can't even get past the first level on Halo 2.

I got at least halfway into the level. Right now I'm just in a wide area with simply too many Red Elites around and not enough grenades and suitable weaponry.

I have beaten the first Halo, and played both in multiplayer. They aren't anything to brag about. There are other games that are much better. And i don't know what everyone was freaking out about Halo 2 for it actually really sucked. Oh wow you can dual wield now, holy crap. Not really a good game.

Oh boy... It didn't suck, it's just different from most other FPS's. It's like...well, I'll just tell you in another post at another forum.

In the world of Halo, both one and two, you're technically a super soldier, with your own plasma shield so you have some things going for ya. However, unlike most other FPSs where you can carry all your guns at the same time, Halo limits you to carry only two at a time. Not only is this realistic, but adds a layer of strategy to the game. Not to mention the first game added a bunch of vehicles to drive.

In Halo 2, some people might complain that it's more of the same with just pretty graphics, when in truth much more layers of strategy have been added. One of the two main layers includes the ability to dual wield, which allows the Master Chief to handle any two weapons, save rifles and cannons, in his hands. Need to kill that guy's shield but while switching to your submachine gun he kills ya? Then dual with, a plasma pistol in one hand and the SMG in the other. Kill his shield and then immediately spray that hot lead all over him. The other layer of strategy comes with the vehicles. Not only are there more vehicles to drive than in the first game, but with the ability to jack an enemy's vehicle, you can change from your disadvantage to his...or yours again, considering that now all the vehicles are completely destructable.

But damn, I'm treating this like a review. Anyway, it's a fun game, it's challenging and if you get Xbox live, the multiplayer is pretty awesome.

Halo 2 didnt suck, people were just expecting some kind of super game and the they were disappointed by its length and ending. For all you who say it sucked, play it over again and you'll see its an amazing game. Halo 1 was amazing, its one of my fav games, so it Halo 2. My only complaint about Halo 2 is that we were the arbiter too much. Btw, Bungie is releasing an expansion pack for Halo 2, go here (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/03/25/news_6121072.html?tag=lastword_xbox_imag e) to read about it.

I liked the Arbiter. We already know enough about the marines and the Chief enough, so why not get a inside look on the Covenant through an Elite's eyes. I liked how they portrayed their religion, traditions, and beliefs through the cut scenes, not to mention I also liked the Arbiter's theme.

The co-op is really where they are set apart in the games industry. A few games have co-op, and the ones that do, don't supply as much amusement as Halo does in co-op. I also love the weapons, including the smg. A lot of people hate it, but I like it because it gives you the option to dual wield which can make some really powerful combos.

Ok, here's what you do: With Halo 1, get two people, go to the multiplayer level with the two ships side by side in space, set it to rockets, set the kills to 50, each take a side. Me and my friend did this at 3:00am, it lasted untill 7:00am. It takes so long to kill them but when you do it is often comical because you hear the rocket coming and look around just in time to see it heading straight for your face. Anyways, I'd say Halo 1 was better. I like the sword, but that's about it for Halo 2. There's just something about Halo 1 that makes it just feel better than Halo 2.
