I have always wonder which division Isshin was a part of, it is obvious he was once a Capitan -because of the Capitan's robe in his shinigami uniform-. I think it has to be between the 10th division and the 3rd division just for the time frame. I think he was the capitan of the 10th just because Toshiro is the newest capitan and Isshin left 20 years in the past.. well what do you guys think?

I have the feeling that he was on 3rd since Gin was a vice captian for Aizen
that time.

I also agree with him being perhaps being the 3rd division captain. I think that him, Aizen, and Unohana are around the same age.

Most probably 10 since Toshiro is a new captain,plus they got a young "boy" for this position this means it was somewhat urgent.

Yeah, I feel it's the 10th, because Hitsugaya is still consider new to the other captains and Commander Yama-jii needed to replace someone 'who' left. I believe Gin and Tensou became captains while Isshin was a captain in Soul Society. I bet, Isshin Kurosaki and Kyouraku Shunsui use to hang out together and drink.. lol

Well, I believe none of them do because I think that Isshin changed his name after he left Soul Society.
