Anyone else ever notice how nearly everytime someone moves "faster than the eye can detect", instead of attacking while moving that fast they randomly stop and attack in slow motion? Often right in front of their opponent?

Why?

Maybe because if your moving fast its harder to put more force into it or even hit your opponent. I also remember when Ichigo vs Byakuya, Ichigo went really fast and appeared right behind in slow motion. Also if they went fast all the time we wouldn't be able to see them and we wouldn't know what happened.

If you're going that fast inertia should help counter that "less force" thing.

In most cases the target isn't moving, and it's pretty hard to miss a target that big with what could be considered an extension of your own body.

Dragonball Z did that all the time and no one complained :P

I think that it is more like a cinamatic action .........

but i agree with sikfearless0
